I'd say, that buyer had no intentions of buying 10 hoods and only wanted the discount on the one hood that he needed. scumbag....
-
ya what he said....
-
WOW the response is a little overwhelming. Please be patient I'll eventually make enough for everyone.

Mike, I think you took the acknowledgement comment all wrong I know that poster personally and he doesnt have an angry bone in his body.He is also a HUGE contributor of Z tech knowledge and I would guarantee he appreciates your efforts as much as we all do.

I got it. Just needed a little more persuasion.

My 1/2" craftsman impact at 120 psi wont budge it.

I'm having some dificulty getting the bolt off.Its not a reverse thread is it?I probably just need to brace everything better and have at it with a big breaker bar.JUst need to know if its reversed thread. Thanks

THIS BATCH IS GONE...sorry to those who missed out. I will be making another batch in the next couple of weeks. Those who asked to be on the list but havent PM'd me yet should do so to confirm. Thanks

I just finished up the mounts and cost will be $ 38.00 plus shipping. They're mage from unpainted 7ga hot rolled pickled in oil steel (HRPO). I decided to tig weld them instead of mig. Its just as strong and looks a lot nicer. 15 of the 20 made are spoken for and ive kept a list. PM me your address and Ill get shipping costs and reply with total and where to send a check/money order.

mine measures 1.25. The slots will work at 1.38 also.
-
You got it Austin, are you going to ZDAYZ this year?
-
Here they are, waiting for weld.Note the added hole for the series one chassis. All mounting holes are slightly slotted to ease installation.
-
The series one bolts are 1.25" apart C/L to C/L while the Ron Tyler mount has them spaced at 2.5". The rear bolts are in the same location so adding another hole on center of the bracket allows one bracket for all s30's.Merely slotting the original holes didnt work.Pics will be up in the morning.
-
It seemed as tho there were aprox 10 interested so I'm makind 20 for now. They're cut, punched , formed and are ready for welding.I'll get some pics up tomorrow.
-
Ive started the Ron Tyler mounts today so I can start shipping early next week.To address the varying bolt patterns, I 'll punch a slot in place of the bottom mounting holes. I have a series one shell here at my shop and will confirm that the slots will work for all (hopefully) s30's.I'll also have a per unit price by this weekend and it will be posted in this thread. As they go together, I'll post some pics.

you must be using the flat mustache bar?

Looks similar to the newer Tiburon from the front

Stony, I'm interested in your reason for ruling out the Wolf.I am presently running the Wolf 3d on my L28 and plan on either swapping it over to the RB or upgrading to to the V500.Its worked flawlessly and theres more featurs than most will ever use.
-
Pete, this first one will go on the club car.I'll call ya when I get back.
-
Well, I by no means plan on charging enough to get rich but I'll make a dozen or so,and see what it cost me to make them At that time (Ron) you and I can talk.and then I'll post a price. I just landed in FLA and I'll be here for the week. I think I'll stay away from Daytona. When I get back I'll make em up.

need the info...

Im curious how Ron feels about my making these mounts. If your out there Ron, speak up. I would hate to over step any bounderies here.I made this for my car and if you prefer that I keep it at that, then I completley understand.

Take a look at these exhaust manifolds. Theres alot of room for improvement with a simple port job. I cant believe the castings are this far off.
