  1. Just trying to piece together some info.. please correct me if I'm wrong

We will need the 27 spline differential.. which can be pulled from a

2004-2005 Subaru WRX STi - these are clutch type CLSD with a 3.9 ratio

2006 Subaru WRX STi - Viscous VLSD with a 3.54 ratio

    shucks.. I really want a 3.54... but I want a clutch type =/

Is there a 3.54 CLSD option?

  2. Keep in mind Aviation Fuel is designed for airplane engines running a fairly solid RPM for long periods of time.. around 3-4000 RPM...

not high revving, rapid RPM changing engines like a car

  3. might I add..

my buddys dad owns a go-kart company.. producing and manufacturing race karts.. so he is a bit wealthy

and after his 2nd season they pulled out

but imagine the advertising they put out over the 2 years for the company.. =)

  4. I have a buddy who raced* in the Atlantic Champ Car series..

for a single season his parents cough up almost 1.5 million dollars to support the team, tires, brakes, engine work, the car... etc etc

    and thats WITH sponsors

  5. $7,000 L28eT build?

or lordy.. for that amount of money.. swap in a RB or a V8.. seriously. Its pointless to modify and tune a 40 year old engine.. the advances in a newer engine and reliability will surpass a L28 any day

Running 11's on a L28 with a good driver is possible on a moderate build.. which you can do for well under $7,000. But 9's?! thats a whole new story

  6. The average shop has a $65 an hour flat rate.

So if you average it out.. thats 38 hours. Now I'm sure some shop can attempt it.. but Vildini has done this swap many many times and will provide a flawless install.

DIY or try a diff. shop if you don't like the price.
