  1. I guess I already found that oops... I was looking more for an idea of how to set it up... Do you think using the factory air cleaner box would work?
  2. Hey question for you guys that might have better searching skills Than me... Can you do a blowthrough turbo setup on su's? I know if you use mg Metro carbs you can push a supercharger through them, however I'm looking for a more discreet power boost... I was thinking maybe welding up the factory air cleaner box and plumina the turbo through the front? Any thoughts?

  8. i am 19 and i bought my first z at 16 it was a 79 2+2 and 5-speed. "400 dollars". i didnt get my liscence till i was 18 so i compleately went thru the car and tought myself bodywork and a little about fuel injection she was pretty when i was done but i let a friend borrow her and he got her impounded in less than an hour of driving her and i had just quit my job so bye bye melma. hello freya my s30 260 56000 original miles. "300 dollars". broken timing chain bye bye l26 hello 318 (i knew there was a reason i didnt scrap that van) so as soon as i get a day off work and a cherry picker ill do the swap (or start any way). 13. i am now down to one again my 74 260 v8 project rusty but salvageable only 53,000 original miles on the l26 but has bent valves used to have a s130 totaled and reconstructed title but you wouldve never been able to tell.... let my buddy borrow her and he got her impounded right after i quit my job. rip melma....sigh
  14. ok so, I found out that a j.t.r. manual came with my car, and has a section on wiring. so I guess im good to go. ohh yeah after reading my other posts they seem a little rude im sorry
  15. yeah ive looked thru the forum and i know how to get the motor and tranny in. I just dont know the wiring modifications like, where to hook the positive wire of my coil to on the 318. it was on the dizzy for the l26 and it was the only wire that hooked up there. but the 318 has like 3 wires that come off the distributor. there are also no measurements on the forum for this mod. So in case no one wrote the measurements down, once i get her runnin ill post them somewhere. and no one posted pics of tranny mounts, so ill put those on too when its done. I know wiring is pretty basic stuff I just have never done a swap before. so instead of me messing up my whole wiring harness I was hoping one of the dudes that had done it before could help
  16. does anyone know what the engine wiring modifications it would take for a 318 in a early 260z. and i was also wondering if there was any pictures of transmission mounts for I believe a 727 (only using till I get enough$$$ for the r134 swap). and maybe measurements of motor mounts, tranny mounts, and driveshaft. thanks -matt
