  4. Guys please help, I put a new pvc valve and Iam still getting blue smoke out of the pipe. So again Iam scratching my head on this one. I got the engine from a trusted member here, according to him he rebuilt it had only a few miles before and I got from him, I had the entire P90 head rebuilt by a shop here in town, and its got a brand new Turbonetics turbo. I removed all the plugs and some have more oil than other. The car runs awesome, but not correct with all this blue smoke so, before I decide to take all this apart again is there a way I can troubleshoot whats causing my car to smoke, like the engine block, piston rings, head seals, valve guides since all is rebuilt.

  7. Tony thanks for your help, no is no a 3/8 is too big, anyone has the answer? what is the correct tap for the PVC valve thread?

  10. 45" fitting? metal, rubber? i did try a rubber, but is to close to the housing and it will melt.

  14. Hi Ross, with the old booster the pedal was hard, now with this new rebuilt booster, there is lots of dead space before it has little brakes and goes to the floor, does not lock up at all.
  15. jhm, I did check the valve and I get "no" flow thru either side???

Guys I need your help again, I finally found a new rebuilt 8.5 booster,new 15/16 master cylinder and still no brakes, all was working fine until my brake booster wen't bad last week, so today I installed a new 8.5 brake booster, and I had no good reaction from this, I adjusted the rod lenght and even, re-bleeded my entire brake system, and still my brakes are no safe for me to say lets hit the road, any ideas what could be wrong, maybe the new rebuilt booster I got is damaged from factory? scratching my head on this one. thanks, J.

  20. Hi, I had a little leak on my 240z where the speedometer cable screws into the tranny, I just got a new set of those o-rings from msa, but I just can figured this out they just dont fit properly they are too big and the center o-ring won't go inside, has anyone here had the same problem?
  21. so looks like Ill be buying a new booster soon, I see they sell a 8 1/2" and a 10" diameter what will be better for my 240z as I already got wilwood brakes on there?
  22. ok reverse the valve and no more high idle, but i still got hard brake problems and the car is hard to stop.
