Hey does anybody have a fuel tank that fits a 77 280z they want to sell or trade for. I have one that fits a late 260/early 280Z. My 77 Z has the raised up floor with the floor panel that has the 45 degree angle that covers the taill lights. I live in the far east Dallas area. Thanks for your help. JJ I have the other fuel tank and also have a late 74 260z parts car and the engine out of the 77 Z that I can trade.

thanks, i have the diagram about the vats stuff n what resistors to use. do u have a better wiring diagram for the z. the one i have is very hard to follow and not very clear.

ok after sever drinks (not really) i found one of the 2 tiny wires that is at the key switch from the vats was broken. fixed now it spins over ok. i havent got that far in the wiring process to remove it

i have a 77 280z with a doner 93 t/a w/a lt1 and am using the t/a wiring harness. ok about noon i got the ignition switch wired up and had the engine turning over. started working on the front lights but could not get the head lights working. i then turned the key to listen to it spin over and nothing. i checked and im not getting power thru the yellow starter relay. i can jump pin 87 and it will engauge. so i have a gm factory 93 t/a manual and a datsun wiring schematic. I DO NOT HAVE A JTR BOOK OR THE TPI BOOK. do i still need these book and does anybody have a clue why the the starter quit engauging when the key is turned????? im fixn to start drinking and smoking....... thanks a bunch for your help. jj ps does the jtr or the tpi book help with all the wiring using a gm harness?? if not where do i get the best info on how to do it.

He im new to the site and just bought my 1st Zcar. I got a 74 1/2 (5mph bumpers) and am wondering if anybody has swapped the steering column out with a gm one? I have a 1993 Trans Am donor car. thanks JJ
