Hi there. My 83zx non turbo coupe had its antenna ripped off while I was in Boise being chased by yellow Mitsubishi Lancers haha. When I bought the car it had a standard antenna. I am trying to install a aftermarket automatic antenna. I cannot figure out how to wire it up. It comes with three wires, a red, white, and black. If I put the red and white to the positive terminal on the battery and the black to the negative the antenna goes up. That is the only progress I have made. I am a complete novice at wiring. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get it wired up. Alex

I have an 83 with sportmax xxr 002's. I am looking to put tokico hpk255 struts and 1" lowering springs on it. And polyurethane bushings. I have been hearing that I would have issues doing the poly bushings with the stock running gear. Will I need to upgrade anything else when doing these mods to avoid breaking anything? Alex

So it is pretty cold here in Central Oregon. I drive an '83 280zx non turbo. I am not great mechanically with cars. But I do work on bikes a bit. When cold the car seems to be running rich. Having to warm the car up is killing my gas mileage. When I start it up it makes a huge exhaust cloud until it is driven and cleared out. If anyone has any incite I would appreciate it. Alex

Been thinking of hitching up a small aluminum trailer with my three vintage dirt bikes in it, and tent and all that other good stuff in the back, and take it racing, rather then a mini van. That's in the future though. Go ahead and yell at me for wanting to put a hitch on my 280zx.

Too many rednecks with hacked off exhausts and so forth, no way that could happen, and if it did, more then half my town wouldn't pass.
