  1. Great build! Have you sold the car yet? If so welcome to fatherhood and fatherhoods first regret.
  2. whenever I run the greddy with the vh45 tb I remove the canister bracket from the fender skirt its easy, takes full advantage of the open plenum intake, and smooths out the skirt.
  3. Gorgeous adapter but why such thick alum? We've made a few adapters for various applications the most recent being RB motor to KA tranny and we used 10mm steel cnc machined without any bell housing machining. Did you machine the bell housing cus of the thickness of the adapter or was it other reasons? Reason I ask is Nissan bell housings are prone to cracking and are weak enough I would never consider any form of machining on them unless absolutely needed.
  4. A full trim 240sx dash isn't that much lighter then a 280z dash. Only a few pounds because of the steel substructure of the z dash verses the plastic substructure of the sx dash And the z dash is far nicer if your considering to fit an sx dash to your car cus your oe dash is cracked it's easier just to fix your z dash
  5. I just installed a set of those with custom made brackets into a 75 280z. The driver side was a little more difficult because of a hump in the trans tunnel assumingly for a resonator or cat.Earlier 240/260's didn't have that hump. These seats are a Recaro knockoff. The originals were in Type R civics in Japan.
  6. Yeah no need to worry. The control arm is right I compared it to the 280z something else is out of whack making the alignment out 1/2 inch
  7. Hey Eddie The posts above are correct Zstore ones are a direct bolt on and the Techno's are a weld on (with a *** name lol). The Techno's look money tho and might offer a more user friendly adjustment. At the end of the day the Techno's would cost more money due to fabrication costs but IMO would be a much better product. I would use the TTT ones just because of the camber plate. Phil
  8. I'm a little confused I got one sitting on my shop floor what exactly are you asking for? Verticle measurement from bottom of block (at pan gasket) to center of throttlebody? If you can clarify better I can get you an answer right away
  9. Did you pull apart the beaing and repack them when you did the disk swap?
  10. also alot of smaler body shops will rent ot here spray booth
  11. dont do maaco single stage means no clearcoat single stage also fades faster and limits polishing out the scratches regular washing causes the reason why they want the car together is cus they dont do jams under hood inside ect. They also dont care about dust If the car is together and not masked properly dust will ruin all your nice prep work Nobody likes pimpled paint. Paint it yourself if you know how to work your gun and have access to the materials if not save your money and pay a better shop 90% of the shops out there are better and your baby deserves them
  12. you can hoist from a number of spots I sometimes use the ex manifold studs if the ex is removed but in your case eisiest might be to sling a strap or chain around the mounts and over the top.
  13. I'm doing this swap in a 75 280 right now. I just completed the mockup of everything motor to z32 rear diff and rear disks even the exaust I'll upload my pics this comming week and post em up in my own build thread. Has anybody here completed this swap?
  14. nice thats a swap i've been contemplating as supposed to an RB swap
