  1. What are these seals going for? Are we talking about the coupe seals?
  2. Can I run most tracks with a M rated helmet?
  3. I'm going to invest in a racing helmet very soon. I want a full faced one because I'm doing mostly track days with a little bit of auto-X and drag. I've looked at a G-Force Pro Force 1 that is a SA2000. It seems to fit my needs. Is there anything else I should look at before purchasing this one? Does anybody have experience with this helmet? Thanks
  4. I took it to the guy who painted my car yesterday. He said he'll paint the new panels and install them for $135. I'm off to Victoria British tomorrow to pick up my hood (turbo style since I'm doing the coversion soon), fender, headlight bucket, an aftermarket air dam. I think it has to do with the Datsun's shape. Mine went almost as high as the roof. It almost went through the windshield.
  5. I hadn't driven my Z since January. I took it out for the first time yesterday. Less than 2 miles from my house I end up hitting a deer around 30 mph. Here's the damage:

  9. Great looking ZX. Your interior looks very nice. I notice you have the six spoke wheels. Was your car originally a N/A?
  10. Ebay is a good place to look as well. I pick up my FSM for $35. Half the price.
  11. I'm not saying that my E36 M3 is the greatest car ever, but I have found out it is a very balanced street car. There are many downsides to it: High insurance, expensive parts, expensive aftermarket, etc. 1. I get 30MPG on the intersate and 25MPG in the city 2. The engine note is wonderful at 7K. The stock exhuast is loud only on the outside. 3. It'll do a high 13 to 14 second 1/4 mile. The top end is very impressive. 4. It was Car and Driver's best handling car at any price in 1997 (it beat the 911, F355, NSX, Viper, et al). In stock trim it's more than ready for the track. Wonderful brakes as well. 5. It is comfortable. The ride is harsh but not too bad considering the handling. It's not as quiet as a Buick either. It's geared a little to low for my tastes; 80MPH@3500 RPM 6. It's stylish with out sticking out too much.
  12. Nobody can beat the '05 Cobra. They don't have a new Cobra yet. A few of those Mustang guys are pretty crazy. I don't think they really hate on the Z, it's just that they think nothing can beat them, especially if it has fewer than eight cylinders.
  13. Looks great. Those are wonderful tires and one of the best values. I'm running those on my M3.
