  3. Does anyone know of any tricks to set timing on a l28 instead of ripping apart the whole front of the engine and wasiting the new oil and antifreeze in it. I had to replace a headgasket and I am 99% sure I had the timing where it needed to be. But its sounds like it is off. Thanks for any help.
  4. Tested the alternator and got a new battery. I can jump start it and it will run for a few moments then die out.
  5. My car wont charge my battery so I was wondering if anyone could help me.I have a 82 280zx and I tested the alternator and it tested good. So I was wondering if anyone could help me with the wires that are wired to the back of it? Like how many or maybe a pic if you have one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  8. My fault I meant the axles. I have a 82 coupe. Do most go under the axles or above it like it did originally?
  9. I have another question. Does everyone go around the driveshft or d oyou go under it to the muffler. I am reffering to how you run the pipe. Thanks for any help.
  10. Eh just havent done it yet. Its on the future mod list. But I am more worried about making it street legal.

  12. According to the inspection guy they need to have a cat and muffler now. So I am wondering what is a good one to use.
  13. I have a 82 280zx that started out as a na but I switched it to turbo. Now it is running a factory turbo, megasquirt, supra 440cc injectors, msd ignition control, aftermarket fpr, aftermarket fuel rail, j-pipe, and some other odds and ins. But I was wondering if someone could help me with what muffler and cat to buy for my exahust. Once tuned the car should have aroung 250 hp and I would like to have it tuned with the exhaust already on there. So is there any advice? Sorry if this is in th wrong spot or anything. Thanks ahead of time.

  16. Yes and the red 12 volt would be the constant 12 volt correct?
  17. Well the shop that wired it setup a new fuse block. And it is running to it.
  18. Ok. So I forgot to mention that when I try to start it and it goes gray the some of the tabs at the bottom turn green also.
  19. I am using tuner studios and when I have megasquirt connected to the car and try to start it it will go from online where I can change stuff to offline and the screen will go grey with off line on it.

  22. Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I was wondering is there a way to check the distributor to make sure it is still good? I have replaced to wires and still no luck starting the car. It will turn over but never cranks. It is getting fuel. I am running a megasquirt system with 440cc injectors. If you need anymore info let me know and I will tell you. Thanks for any help.
  23. I was using a serial port and. I got the software when I got the system that way I would supposedly have the correct one.
