  1. I have one. But needs machine work and I'm in texas.
  2. My old one welded up fine. Of course I had it done by a pro. And i went with the Rb20 and will probably do a few minor upgrades to it before its running. I know a lot of people would say its a waste, but the amount I had left to get my l-series where I wanted it and the cost and reliability the rb should have, I went that route.
  3. Thanks posting my link in here. I was about to mention it. I do have more pics i can send you if you would like to see whats all there. Just send me a text or your email.

  5. Well I tore that other motor apart and turns out it was a n42 with dished pistons. yay right? nope I decided that I am going with a rb swap. I want a decently powered reliable car and thats the route im going to go.
  6. What my current parts collection looks like so far if I stick with the L28.. I also have 5 dished pistons laying around and need to come across a 6th one if anyone has a spare rod and piston they want to let go cheap.
  7. Tough choice to build a l28 turbo motor or go to the rb swap... any inputs?
  8. Yea the blue one in my avatar is my old one obviously. haha. And Im not to far from Tomball area if youre familiar with that. Theres actually a larger group of older z's in the houston area then I thought. They just seem to be more active on Facebook. Im still trying to decide what I want to do to this one, but in the end I plan for it all to be done correctly.
  9. So I've collected a few parts over the past week and still dont know what direction I want to go with the car. Here is a current list of parts I collected: MSQ-II V3 Edis setup P90 head spare turbo mani turbo oil pan spare intake mani and another motor to use for my next build if I go with the turbo route Also I have ordered and will probably install this weekend stainless steel brake lines along with new(to me) injectors. My brakes seem locked up so since I loaned my wheels to a buddy I figure its perfect time to do this and maybe the clutch slave since its stuck on the floor.
  10. Pics as promised just a week late. And the old one
  11. I'm back again with my new project even though 99% of yall never realized I was gone. Haha. I had to part out my last project which happened to go to a member on here who ended up parting it out again. But this time I picked up a rust bucket of a 280zx t top (with no rust around the t tops) complete car with 3 spare matching rims for 400 bucks. If it runs is unknown right now but it is complete with a clear title. I will have a lot of cutting and welding in my future to replace all the rusted out parts. I will post pics tomorrow of the starting point.
  12. I have one. Also a blown turbo and a good turbo. Pm if interested in any
  13. As the title states I am looking for headers for my 82 280zx that I am swapping a v8 into. I would like pics and price shipped to 77445. Thanks ahead of time.
  14. I got a t5 from a 02 v6 camaro and I cant seem to locate what bellhousing I need to put it on a 350 which from my research says its a 79ish. Any help?
  15. The car has ran prior to this. The wiring was not messed with.
  16. So I am hoping that it is not timing and looking for any other options that it may be, because timing is a pain to redo. Any was my car will start and run but will not rev up it remains at the same rpm no matter if the throttle is barely open or all the way opened. The only difference it rpm is when th throttle is closed. The engine has ran before with the only difference now being a thicker headgasket and walbro fuel pump. So any help prior to me redoing the timing will be greatly appreciated.
  17. Here is the look I am going for with the bumper. Forgive the welder its a electric flux core and the crappy iphone pics.
  18. Here are some iphone pics of my engine bay: And some pics of the quarter panel that needed repair: This is after I welded the plate on the back and cut out part of the side: To this: The quarter panel is not perfect but its a good start. Sorry about the crappy iphone pics.
  19. Well my engine bay is mostly back together and black. I will post pics tomorrow if I remember.
