Thats pretty true Braap's really more on the mellow side and he always has excellent input on just about everything! I Got mad respekt for that loco! Yea some of the other ones are more nazish but thats what its like here from what i understand. Braap, Johnc, Phlebmaster they all work hard to make sure the crazies in here don't rule the roost and i appreciate that alot. With out they're (and the other moderators) hard work this place is a haven for Zed heads of all Years, Sub-models, Engine Types, Induction types can gather together in one area and collectivly bitch at the world and everything in it including, but not limited to, our Beloved Z's ~J

So probably anyone from a VG30E would work effectively? Whats its purpose? can it be bypassed at all or is it required for a specific purpose? i mean of course its needed in someway otherwise it wouldn't be on the motor but i'm curious if anyone has bypassed it or knows what its purpose is in the scheme of things ~J

The normal consensus from what i understand is that there isn't any difference in the 240SX calipers and the Stock 280Z Drums but the calipers are deff WAY WAY easier to work on and i'm super lazy sio i've decided to go this way lol. I just gotta finishing paying off for my kit ~J

Excuse the noobishness with the Z31's but i think i've narrowed down my problem with mine to the power transistor, is there anyway this thing can be bypassed or what is it can i make my own? i don't wanna pay $160 for the replacement transistor so i 'm looking for the work arounds any one know of any? ~J

Well as it stands right now i've got my 15/16 MC and i'm waiting to get the money to finish paying for my Rear 240SX Calipers and brackets! Than i need pads, S/S Brakes Lines and new Front Pads and hardware and i should be good I just got my new Tokico Illumina Shocks so hopefully that'll help my stopping time too any one know what the stock spring settings are on the S30? isn't it like 175lbs front and 225lbs rear or something? Anyways i'll post pics when i get a chance ok? PEACE!! ~J

I had this issue wiht a 1993 Mustang and i ended up replacing the little Ignition control Module on the Intake Manifold. That sends the signal too the tach and its possible it may be going is the car acting foolish at all or running rough or anything like that?~J

A: this cats got mad funds he wants to blow on a Z (doubtful) B: This cats lazy as hell (Very Likely) and He's wanting to have bragging rights that a Shop did his work but he doesn't wanna pay shop pricing for the work. Owning a Z is so much for than just a car there's the blood sweat and tears you put into making it yours its like owning a custom Guitar. If you build it it'll cost you a$$ loads of time and energy but your overhead cost will be much lower. However if you have a Custom PRS or Strat or Les Paul built your gonna pay a Premo Price for it. What it boils down to is how much is your money(as the consumer) worth and how much is your workmanship(as a business owner/mechanic/restorer) worth? When you have someone work on your car your PAYING for someone to WORK on YOUR car so i'd want someone doing a damn good job. Your work is worth what it is and if he demands your quality he'll pay for it and hopefully get what he pays for. Your quote for a build up isn't too unreasonable at all he should be thankful or perhaps consider working on his own vehicle a little more himself and have you do the big stuff. just my $0.02 on the matter ~J

Good lord you could hook one of these up to an MS via USB and tune up in live time on the fly AND manage your sound track on the road!! damn.... i'm gettin me one thats it! ~J
