Ive searched and had no luck trying to find the best place to mount the pressure regulator. I have thougt about mounting it next to the battery tray or onhe strut tower witch is a better location? Im trying to keep the heat of the exhaust off of they fuel system because of the hot temps in the summer of 105+ deg.

Are all of the pulleys aligned? You may be putting to much or not enough tension on the belt also.

pull the plugs and see if there in good shape.

ive already got the three center gauges mounted in the dash, i was just wondering how the spedo and tach were mounted. -
Cool thanks for the info ill just use the factory pickup for now. How hard is it to mount a cell and still retain the factory filler neck on the out side of the body?

What kind of bracket did you use to mount the tach and spedo in the the dash?

im new to the forms so any help would be helpful. Ive got a 74 260 and im not sure if the factory pickup in the tank will suck air or flow enough fuel for a sbc. I have thought about a sump in the factory tank or mounting a cell just to make sure there will be no fuel starving issues. Any ideas of what would be the best way of doing one of the two? thank you
