  1. ain't nothing wrong with a good corn dog!
  2. hot rodding at it's finest! if you dont have it or can't afford it, build it yourself. and they did it in black where the body work had to be perfect. i do glass work and can appreciate their results.
  3. yea the military rounds with the corrosive primers are the reason there are not a lot of good barrels left. i'm sure i'll be adding a recoil pad. i'll post some pics soon. it's too cold here in ohio to work on my z so guns are winter sports for me . dale
  4. i have just sporterized a #5 mark 1 jungle carbine. it was my dads. he has had it before i was around and i have never seen it fired. i'm 45 now. i'll be sighting it in this spring. the barrel is perfect on it, which is not easy to find a good one these days. i put on a modified and refinished ati monte carlo stock, ati bolt on scope mount and a 6-24 x50 range find scope.SWEEEEET!!
  5. slightly humorous! it would be more so if it all wasn't true!!!!
  6. i'm doing a similar setup on a small block z with four 40mm dels. i got my carbs direct from italy from a guy who sells them on ebay.Cheap! ,matched and nice. carb mods for the blow thru are as follows. foam or filled brass floats. sealed or o-ringed throttle shafts. a static fuel pressure of four to five lbs. plus one lb. of fuel pressure per lb.of boost pressure, this is where the boost referenced fuel reg. comes into play. if for example you are putting out 15 lbs. boost you will need 19 to 20 lbs. of fuel for engine supply and to overcome the 15 lbs. pressure that is in the float bowl. in a blow thru set up, if the float bowl is not pressurized as well, the fuel will not be able to enter the fuel stream. good luck
