Do you think i should put a automatic or a stick im going for a track car but some what streetable i think im going to pull some where arount 350-400hp tops Terry your the the pro on all this z stuff what would you go with and why any body else have ideas i will greatly apreciate them

just put a sr20det you could get up to 400 hp on a stock motor stock they have 220 or so but aluminum heads and block you could get the motor with wireing like for 2000 with trany

go to recycler.com they have one for sale like for 200 or 150 bucks if you want it that guy will send it to you he seems like a cool guy

check the MAF sesor gasket i had a mustang and it did the same thing and sense i did that it workfine its just a air leak try it thats going to be the problem

if your going to put a irs use the thunderbird irs i have a 1993 ford thunderbird Super Coupe 5 speed and it has about 350 horse power and 400 torque and the rear end handles it fine its a 8.8 and it is posi traction it will be better for you

if your going to have over 300 horsepower i would go with the 700r4 it is alot stronger 3/4 ton trucks even use them i thing the 700r4 is the way to go i could be wrong i rather have some thing stronger it will probally save you money on the future

are the koni adjustable good for the 240z are the kybs better?

im putting my car together i just need to buy the shocks i saw tokicos but they are really expensive anybody know anything about the KYB's are they any good anybody please help im going to buy the adjustable ones

get a mustang ho motor it has like 220 horsepower and it weighs like 50 pounds less than the datsun l6 put aluminum heads cam headers intake good carb or fuel injection a T5 manula overdrive you will have about 350 to 400 with about 30mpg and be very very very fast. i would personaly put a 302HO put a cam good intake and exhoust cam stock heads valves and everythings else and get like 330 horsepower and 30-35mpg with a overdrive

i bought some springs today they are 300spring rate for the front and 350 for the rear is this to stiff for street i want it to be a supper handling car it is rarely going to be driven what stuts should i use and where can i get them for the best price i already shorten the stuts 1 1/2 but i have extra stuts if i need to cut more.

I currently have mustang cobra 13inch rotors with the 300zx tt calipers and 5 lug conversion i got it all for under $350 in parts it was very easy just get 87zx 5 lug hubs redrill the the rear stubs make a braket for the caliper it is really easy and you should be able to do it for no less than $450 i spend $600 on the calipers rotors hubs brakets all new brake lines proportioning valve stainless steel lines master cylender and booster and coilover setup all under $600 all my friend wonder how i do it they all want my car and its not even done yet
