  1. That'd be cool. I'm probably going to wait until summer so it's warm out.
  2. Let me know what you find out. I'd love to do it at home, but I don't have a good air compressor or gun. Plus, I don't think the wife will like me parking her 2008 STI outside.
  3. I wish I could find a community college around my area that offered a program like that. Stupid Colorado.
  4. For anyone having trouble finding a reasonably priced diff, email or PM me and I will get you in touch with some sellers from Subaru boards (former swapped suby owner). I can't vouch for the products they are selling, it's up to you to decide if they are reputable or not. I will do my best to set you up with some good deals on fairly low mileage diffs. Just let me know! My email is tallicaguitar88 AT gmail dot com
  5. Aw, no turtle paint job like the van?!
  6. How are you planning on painting it Tanuki? Same color scheme as your Forza pics?
  7. That carbon fiber spoiler will look great! One of the things I wish I had ordered for mine!
  8. Ok, just saw your thread. Thanks for the pictures.
  9. That's kind of what I figured. Like the older Version 3 and Version 4 Subaru WRX STIs. The version 3 crinkle red finish chipped horribly.
  10. Thanks Joel! Did you just seal up where you cut through the pan around the pickup? I saw what getoffmyinternet did and am considering doing that. Are you running the baffles that bolt to the crank girdle?
  11. What modifications need to be done to this pan in order for it to fit? Taken from Stony's "So you wanna swap an RB" thread. Does anyone have anymore detailed instructions such as pictures? Or even better, Stony, do you have any pictures?
  12. I would not use those filters if I were you. This is a good write up on the main aftermarket filters. The HKS lets the most dust through. Apex'i is the best! http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/
  13. Cut wires are no good, but replacement harnesses can be found for fairly cheap. Looks to be pretty low mileage from the pictures though. The intake manifold is not chipping away as bad as mine. But hey, that's what powder coating is for!
  14. Might be cool to get one for just the center section! What's he charge?
  15. +1 My RB was wrapped for about 10 seconds!
  16. That valve cover art is awesome! Has he tried doing the RB26 covers?
  17. Mack, Do you have a price range for these yet?
  18. Ouch! Never a good thing to see a nice car totalled.
  19. Nice! I've been debating what I want to do for tach/speedometer.
  20. I'm also interested. I was thinking of doing the Cozmo coils but this looks like a good option if done well. Subscribed.
  21. I'm on so many: skylineownersusa skylinesaustralia gtr.co.uk nagtroc conoc awdpirates.net rs25.com gtrcanada.com Just to name a few.
