  1. GAZRNR, I think u just saved me from damaging my transmission, I did think the throw out fork may be the problem. It would be lose until u pulled the trans away from the motor and it than got tight. Well anyway are saying all I need to do is take a sea clamp and pinch the fork, in other words just press the fork as the slave cyclinder would have if I was to push in the clutch peddle?? Thanks again, a lot!
  2. Can someone tell me how to get this apart. I have the motor and transmission out of the car, but god forbid we can't get them apart! The trans will come apart about 2", 3 Hours later and one sore back we have given up.... Anyone else have this problem? We though it was just us not getting it lined up well enough but I don't think thats it.... Thanks, Terry
  3. I know there is a buy/sell area, but I hope I can talk someone into selling there used manual that was not really thinking about it....... Anyway If u think u can live without it and could some extra cash let me know. I have a 95 LT1 out of a Camero Z28. Thanks

  6. You know what I like even better, its the truck bed lining. I did the wheel wells and the underbody, going over the black tary undercoating. There was no undercoat in the wheel wells, The bed liner is tuff as concreat. U can try to dig your nails into it as hard as u want, no thick tar under the nails!
  7. I cant tell u if it helps, but I found it easy to add sound deading material. I placed a sheet on the doors, under the head liner and on the floor. It will a couple yrs before i can drive it. But it not that expensive and easy to install.
  8. Thanks guys, I have not removed the motor yet, I was told a lot of wire go into the fire wall. Which leads me to think it will be a confussing mess. But I take it from what u have told me it will not be so hard... I plan on tearing into it tomorrow morning. Thanks
  9. Please help, I have a 95 Z28 and I’m going to yank the motor and 6 speed. Several people have told me that the swap into my 78Z will be much easier if I bought a new harness. Well I went to the painless site and it’s confusing. I called a local parts store and he told me I needed a complete engine harness for $700.00 What I want is a harness that will replace the wires that go into the dash, it would seem to me they are the only ones that I will need to mess with. Thanks in advance if you have a option...
