Hey if anyone is interested i am getting a newer car so i am selling RB25det out of the 97 Stagea complete with harness and ECU come with the Greddy style intake and only missing the stock turbo Rear Sump Pan made by Pat Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions 960s Staggered on Stern ST-5 Wheels 245/40/18 front 275/35/18 rear (5 miles of actual) Rims and tires are new JDM J-Spec 99 Front Bumper with grill, and corner lights. Totally new just primed for the 300zx Z32. Just Thought I would let you guys know feel free to PM and I will even do bundle deals. lol
  2. Nice car. Well I do not have a 240. But I do have a straight stock RB25det off of a Nissan stagea 1997 43k off of clip. The only thing it is missing is that crappy stock turbo. I sold it. Comes with a rear sump custom pan, ecu, harness, greddy style intake polished, stock intake and mani as well. All you would need is a turbo of your choice. You could use the rear sump pan or sell it and get the stock pan for like 119 on ebay. I was putting it in a 300zx but I just decided it is time for a newer car. If you like 300 check out mine. All you need to mount it with this engine is custom mounts or fab your own. Check out my auction it does have some nice upgrades that you could use or sell. Just an idea. A Z with a RB would be worth more than a 240. I also have the RB Bell housing to mount the RB tranny to the z transmission.   3. Good info there and I was thinking that the universial might work out better as well. On the turbo I am going to sell or trade it. I just want something that will get me over 450 low 500s and I will be happy. I got it on a steal so I figure I would try.

  5. Where is Nistune? Whenever I go to the site I only see the Ausi setup and addresses.
  6. how much does that ViPec run. Looks pretty goot. I see the other one. It would be nice if Nistune could just sell a whole board to replace all then I would not have too solder.
  7. Agreed I was looking at those. Hell I bought a RB30 block for $430 dollars shipped. Now thats a deal.
  8. Yeah Nistune for $500 is hard to beat. Not to mention imagine all the other upgrades you could get with the money you are saving.
  9. I personally love the custom pan especially with the enhancements you installed. I think the pan reversal would be good as well especially at the right price. There was a guy on here already doing those but the price was the same as your custom pan. Also for those of us with the RB26 style blocks and having the issue with the rear oil pickup. Its either you or Rips right now. When I had the 200zr pan I needed it notched and a modified pickup. It was cheaper for me just to sell it and get your pan.
  10. Yeah I am going to have to go see what my measurements are on my cross member. The guy I saw actually had the drivers side mount in the stock location on a Z32 but he had the passenger side mounted to a bracket.
  11. Yeah Pat made me a pan for mine back in Dec. Very nice fit better than the 200ZR pan I originally had. On the mounts I found a guy on the RBz32 site that did it another way. He was able to mount the drivers side motor mount to our stock location but then he made a bracket and bolted it to the frame of the car to fit the other RB mount and it worked. I will find the link and post it for you. I may repin my harness to match a R33 I have the R34 style harness and I was thinking if I could use my Z ecu it is already flashed for the setting I plan on using. I will never go higher than 555cc injectors but the option of maps for different turbos make me want to use nistune.

  13. I dont believe so but dont quote me on that one. I know on a Honda we changed to different intake and the engine light kept coming on but the car ran fine other than that. If you like I do have a a link that shows step by step how to swap the intakes as well as other parts. Picture by picture.
  14. Hey I guess since we are at the same stage right now I can ask you some questions. What type of oil pan are you going to use and if its rear sump what are you going to do about mounts. Thats the only thing holding me up right now. Also what are you going to use for engine management. Thanks. Im putting it in a z32 but I our crossmembers are pretty much the same so I figure I would ask.
  15. Okay here is another one I found. I like it a little better because it want interfere with my mid-pipe.   16. Hello Guys just trying to finish up my swap and I listen to a lot of you guys advice in getting it together. I still have not figure out what to do on the mounts yet, but I do have a rear sump pan and everything else right now. So I have a few questions to ask. I got a deal on a GT42 the other day in very good shape. I was trying to get a Holset but the price on this Garrett was too good to pass up. So I am getting the garrett and with a I was looking to see if I could just find a DP for it and I ran across that look good on EBay. The first is for a Supra and the second is a Universal with a flex head. I really want the Supra one because it is the whole DP with V-Band. Well the problem is my engine is out of a 97 Nissan Stagea and it had the R34 style ecu like the Neo. I was wondering if I could still use Nistune on it but use a R33 flash since the engine is really a R33 and not a R34. Someone suggest I just take the connector off of my old Z32 harness and repin my existing harness with it and use either a Z or R33 ecu. Not sure but I figure I would throw the question out. Finally if there is anyone out there who knows which motor mounts have been used on a Z32 with a rear sump or 200zr pan other than the the 200zr mounts I would love to know. On one site they claim I could use the stock Z32, custom, or some mounts off of a ford. So all and any help would be greatly appreciated because next week I will be getting to work. Oh also do suggest Z32 Maf or go with Map. My goals are Gt42 Turbo FMIC Greddy Style Intake 555cc Injectors Nistune Stage 2 Clutch and lightweight flywheel

  18. Im not sure any more since I can no longer find the link. But if you had a Z32 with a 200zr rear sump pan or custom. What mounts do you use. I thought I read that you could use the stock z mounts with a rear sump pan. I cannot remember and I can no longer find the links I had to verify. So I guess mounts that you can use in either a z31 or 32 with a rear sump pan would be great if you cant use something that is already available.
  19. Hey Pat I see you still making pans. Its looking good. Hey I will let you know about those mounts in the coming week. I may need another pan also but it maybe for a q45 or titan engine. I am getting a z31 so I am thinking about putting the RB25 in it and a V8 in the Z32 preferrably a titan engine. So I figure if you can reverse the pans on those I could sit them lower in the car and use the stock Z mounts on them. Just an idea for now. But I will know about the mounts as soon as I put this RB bellhousing on my z32 tranny and do some test fitting. I still need to make my dipstick tube a little bigger but I think I will try and rim it out. It does not need to be too much bigger. Its just not snug at all.
  20. Alright so I got the hole drill out perfectly but one problem. I went one size too big. I used a 3/8 bit. So any suggestions.
  21. Yeah I trying to beat a M3 that this jerk friend of mine has. He says no chance of me doing it with a RB25 without doing internal work. So Im just looking for the best route to 400+ wheel horsepower. Also would a hx35 be a better choice than a hx40
  22. Oh well I been at work so I will get back on this wed. I have a new drill and bits now so I will do the usual on the block. Now I need to know what all I need to get this sucker up to at least 400 hp. I am getting a Holset hx40 Turbo, 550 injectors, FMIC, greddy style intake, dual exhaust with 5 inch tips coming from a 3 inch down/mid pipe, running nistune with a z32 maf and a Q45 throttle.

  24. Yeah there is not much room there to work with. Dam Nissan why they just cant make everything the same way. Well so far I have broke two bits today. I guess I need something stronger. I will keep going at it. I was wondering would putting the dip stick in the pan cause any drop in oil pressure.
  25. Yeah thats what I thought too but all the pics I have seen shows a plug back there and I dont have none but I will check again.
