  1. oil pickup should be there tomorrow.
  2. Oh do you still need that template. I could edit that pic I posted up top to the exact size and email it to you. That would work out better than any cardboard.
  3. Hey that pan is looking pretty good. Hey I may need someone to fab me some motor mounts. Not sure yet. I was told on the Z32 I could use the Z motor mounts if I had a rear sump pan. If not I may need to draw up some and get them made. I will know once I drop the engine in.
  4. Well I dont know but I see with the bigger pan it would eliminate the need for a oil cooler. So it up to you. Oh also if you look at the link you will see where it needs to be bulged out some.
  5. Yeah I see it looking good. The location of the awd pickup is actually right below the motor mount if you look at the link I pasted earlier. so the stock pickup will need about 4-5 inches added. How much oil do you think this pan will hold. I was reading up on the RB20 pan and most say it did not provide enough oil. I just want to say ahead of time I appreciate your work and thank you for your efforts. Also I am putting it in a 300zx Z32. So thats what I am working with. The 200zr pan would have been perfect if I did not have a awd block.
  6. http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/ab158/RKLamb/rbblockissues1resize.jpg here we go excuse the bad handwriting but Im trying to write with a mouse. But you see it lines up with the bolts on the crank cage. They both do.
  7. Hey I made the template I will scan it and send it to you tomorrow. I forgot to bring it today. I need to locate my original Oil pickup I am hoping I did not put it in the box with the RB20 pan. Lol. Hey if you look at the bottom of your block the pickup on an awd engine is about 4 1/2 to the left of yours or for better picture it lines up with the bolts on the crank cage looking at the bottom of the engine. Both mine and yours line up with those bolts. So if the pan a some depth and a budge coming off of that location I will send a pic to give you a better idea
  8. Well I just sold the RB20 pan I had. I need something made rear sump with a oil pickup coming from the stock RB26 spot. So put me down for one. PM me.
  9. Yeah I would definitely be interested in this as I have an an LS sitting on a stand that I been saving.
  10. Yeah how much is the pan now. I have not checked lately.
  11. I have bought 4 clutches in the past few years different cars off Ebay all ACT and they all came with throwout bearings even the ones that did not show them in the pic. Every clutch kit I have seen bought offline from when I worked at my friends shop always came with them. The auto part stores and the dealerships usually do not include them.
  12. So what would be the benefit of running nistune with a ford lighting MAF.
  13. Yeah I love pics to get new ideas on what to do with mine.
  14. Man I love those old Zs. Just like the Z32 there is nothing else that looks anything like it.
  15. Yep I heard that all the RBs and the NA Z all have the same flywheel and clutch. So Im just going to look for the best deal for the money. Some people instantly over charge you when you say RB so on some parts the Zs are cheaper, but some are cheaper in a RB. I just search for both looking for the best deal possible.
  16. I believe the item has been relisted since no one bought it.
  17. Man those RIPS pan are nice but hell I cannot see paying that much for a oil pan. Maybe a turbo but not a oil pan.
  18. That what I was thinking if I was to get a custom pan, but I got this 200zr pan now. So I will either sell it or get something to work with it. I do not want to drill any holes in the side of the block or cut up the ZR pan to get them to work. I would rather sell it and get a custom pan if I had to do all that. Im lazy I rather take the shortest route possible. lol
  19. I got the original which looks like a RB26 pick up then I have the one that came with the 200zr pan. The 200zr pick up looks easier to modify since it is facing the right direction and is the right size to fit my pan. With the other one I would have to make the hole bigger on the ZR pan.
  20. Yeah I use mobile one syntec can you imagine how much my oil change would be with 7.5 quarts. lol
  21. Well your pan looks good. Not too much off that 1100 dollar pan I seen some where on here. Well if you can think you can make a pickup that works that will be great if not I will just start on selling this pan and pickup. On either pan I will need an extended oil pick up on yours look like it will be easier.
  22. Im not too familiar with the RBs so you say your pan old 7.5 gallons of oil. So what would be the reason for wanted that much more oil. Excuse my ignorance but I been a VG man all this time and no one ever discuss doing anything to the pan or increasing the oil capacity in those.
  23. Here is one of the main links I found with it. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=147749
  24. Well hell I may just sell mine and get yours, but I need a another pan too. Lol. So if anyone wants to buy a 200zr Pan with the pickup I will sell it for less than I paid. 475 shipped There are actually some link on here already showing the block layout I will post one here for you to see.
  25. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SKYLINE-ECR33-RB25DET-ENGINE-WIRING-HARNESS-R33-w-P-T_W0QQitemZ170399281143QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item27ac96aff7 Here you go its 8 hour left on auction. It say it is a R33 but I see an igniter on it for the coils so I would think it is a R32
