  1. I have read that the super turbo are reversible. In that case I guess I will use the offset as the outlet. And thanks for the advise on the bullet. If it's too loud then I will go that route.
  2. Oh ha ha ha that's prolly why I didn't see it when I was looking for a quiet muffler.
  3. I got the 16" case and I got the one with offset intlet and center outlet With your first post I misunderstood. So your saying that the inlet/outlet doesn't matter IN MY CASE as much as the case size? Or did I misunderstood you again? LOL
  4. Yup I did. Had I known I would have baught the 2.5" version. And I payed extra attention when I was purchasing. But there's no way to know when ordering online when they say " 3" intlet and outlet" plus the pics that they have shows no flare. Dam these recycled photo LOL How much power and trq will a muffler design like this cost me compare to a true 3" in/out? Is borla as quiet as the super turbo? I was looking for the quietest muffler that has little or no power loss and the super turbo is the quietest I found
  5. You put the hole on top of the frame rails right? How hard was it to make that hole? I was thinking on doing this but instead of the main exhaust it will be a cutout exit. I run my supra that way. Its super LOUD under boost and loud at cruise. That's why I decided that a cutout is my option when I finish collecting turbo parts for my v8.
  6. Okay so I'm doing a mustang 5.0 motor swap and doing a dual 2.5" Y with outlet of 3". So naturaly I ordered the super turbo 3" for quiet exhaust. What I recieve however is what looks like a 2.5" muffler WITH a 2.5" to 3" flare on each end. What's the deal? Is this how dynomax makes the so called 3" muffler? By simply adding flare/reducer on each end? Note: it's a good thing that it's a temp exhaust setup until I get all my turbo parts otherwise I would really be upset about this.
  7. I think when your picking transmission you'll need to look at two things. 1. First things first. That is your price range. What can you afford. 2. What's your torque goal? If you only want a mild sbf and a t5 can handle it then go that route. If you need more then go tremec.
  8. I don't think you want to do that. If it was me the last thing I want is my driveshaft breaking and having another made everytime it breaks. I would just get stock mustang driveshaft and the r200 adapter. Take it to a good driveshaft shop and get it cut to the length you need.
