I understand that the stock wiring is garbage hence my installation of a NEW harness with NEW fuse box. My question was will the NEW wires be up to the challenge? Or should I do the relays just to make sure or will the NEW harness be enough?
Thanks for the comments thus far though guys.!
no matter what type of wiring you used, the DESIGN of the harness is definitely not ideal. the headlight relay upgrade is a GREAT investment.
Dave (Zs-ondabrain) over at classiczcars.com makes an AWESOME headlight relay upgrade: http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20365

Contact a local smog referee station and ask them these questions. Relying on us to determine the legality of what you're doing is like Paris Hilton relying on her PR agent for advice on driving with a suspended license.
that was hilarious
my input: mu buddy is putting a hi comp "small port" 4AGE in his AE86 and is using the OEM FWD intake manifold. BUT he had the front and back cut and welded on the opposite sides so he can use it in he RWD application. granted this is going to be in an autoX only car so it doesn't need to be street legal. but the questions are really how stock you can make it look and how critical is the ref.

only thing i can think of that I changed is the cut/bent rear fender lips so that my tires quit rubbing!

you can get new toyota 4x4 calipers from autozone for 75+66 core.
i'm going to try to turn in the Z calipers, since they're worth $95 core

some guy at the local parts store who drove a primered F150 Lightning (you guys remember those?) no clue why but he revved his engine up which scared her since she was still unsure of how to drive the car... so i told her just to let it go which of course she refused and revved back... the guy launches hard leaving a nice cloud of smoke behind him. when i asked her why she did it she said "watch... he's going to learn a lesson here..." then you see those good ol' blue and reds flashing comin' from the turn lane to the left of us! i had to bite my lip to keep from cracking up, she didn't hold the same courresy haha... it's never what you drive or even how you drive it... it's just that some people feel the need for the ego boost... they're the guys that've never had a REAL race in their cars.
BWAHAHAHAA... that's CLASSIC

haha, i suppose i could take it upon myself to do so... take a look at the website, find me some skus, and i'll buy and ship! but don't overwhelm me, or else i might never get the Z done

^hahah, i lol'ed when i saw the antique plate, too
anyway, terry's car is awesome; if you do decide to do a diffuser/vent; make sure it's straight and experiment with different materials for the grille
-
radioshack! too bad you're on the other side of the country; otherwise i'd say "stop in and get 30% off!"

and it wouldn't take long for water to accumulate ions by flowing through vrious metals, either

same engine from the DP1 and the atom, referenced from dpcars.net as posted in the mclaren thread

You dont think 250hp is enough for a s30? Have you been in a s30 with 250 or even 220hp?
ya, 220-250 hp in a car that weighs about a metric ton(ne) is pretty nice. not to be taken lightly!

<-- big fan of yamaha motors. i almost bought an SHO, but then i couldn't see myself driving a taurus lol

Pictures??
i concur!!!!!

i'm HOPING it was just the head/head gasket that blew, but on classiczcars someone found out that the cylinder wall had a 3" crack in it, so i'm taking a "worst case scenario"
although even if my block is fine, i would still trade across
-
^correct. except for the fact that the question isn't the weight of the VG30ET, it's for the VG30DETT. the extra cams and associated valvetrain would add a bit to the weight. and i'm willing to bet that this is just for the VG30E block and head.
So why in the hell....
