Here are some pictures of the turbo manifold. This one has a T4 flange. The flange is close to 3/4" thick. If you really need it and can't find it any where send me an email with the right offer and it's yours. GL

PS. Thanks Yasin for speaking highly of me. I visit this forum once in a long while now.
does this clear a LHD steering shaft and frame? How much you want for it?

Best wishes to all!!
My resolution is for EFI Turbo now that the motor is broken in!!
My resolution is to just be able to drive mine.

Well the Wii Alert and Santa brought a Wii to our house and now all of us have sore muscles from playing wii for the past few days.
Everyone I talk to (that got a wii for Christmas) says they are sore from playing. The Tennis, baseball and the boxing will do this.
I think it is great that Nintendo came through with a video game that will get people up off the couch.
It does make you sore. If I bowl, I have a tendency to throw to hard, and since the controller is alot lighter then a bowling ball, I over do it. Like throwing a tennis ball instead of a baseball. I wonder if anyone has ever thrown out there arm playing yet.

I kinda like the fact that USAA hasn't upped my rates for my ticket. Which was over a year ago. If anything, my insurance has dropped, even with the Z on my plan. Both the cars are older 93' sentra, and 78' 280z, and don't have full coverage, but I like that I only pay about 330 every 6 months.

The original poster has Megasquirt listed in his signature. It seems reasonable to assume he wanted to use the plenum with an EFI setup. He never said anything about carb'd applications, you brought them up. You made many negative statements about the cartech manifold that were unqualified as to which type of fuel delivery application you were referring to.
I'll update my signature

That is what I was getting at for the longest time: The pressuirzation of the float bowl, even by a fraction of an inch of water will allow MUCH more fuel in to the circuit under boost situations (same as if you changed the float bowl level the same ammount on an N/A)
I'm still reading up on carbs, I'm fairly new to it, so I didn't understand some of the more technical things you were saying, but I'm desiphering it as I read it and its making more sence everytime. I've only talked to a few guys running turbo'd carbs, but they were all like SBC's with a single 4bbl and they were saying its a pain to tune at times for boost. But i guess with the plenum design on a triple setup helps to cure that?

Didn't get anything for my Z but did have a very nice time w/ my wife!
that is just awesome.

Tony D, do you have a good baseline setup for an L28 running triples and boost. I need to get some jets, and want to know where to start atleast, then change from there. Seeing as how the turbo not only changes the pressure, but the temperature as well, then wouldn't it not really matter where your located as long as its similar climate conditions? This is all assuming a stock T3

merry christmas to all of hybridz

if only it was a TT, it would be almost worth it to pick it up for 1k that its going for, then strip the kit and return it to stock.

sentra's always do me good, we've had plenty in my family. They can be had cheap even for only a couple years old. The recent body styles have been good too, .....except for the newest one.....but besides that. I recently looked at an 04? sentra, had a mild sound system, alloy wheels, but was automatic. They wanted like 10 for it, and it was a certified pre owned vehicle from nissan. You can get the 02-03's for next to nothing.

EVERYONE LOOKING FOR A WII!!!!!
I have inside information that nearly ALL targets WILL have Wiis in stock sunday morning, and they've been holding them nationwide for the last week.
GO SUNDAY! Get there early and there should be some Wiis to be had.
I'm not on wii alerts so i'm not sure if it's been posted with them, but I know for a fact they'll be there. I'm kinda considering getting one and ebaying it...
Went an hour early and I was the next to last person to get in line for the wii. But I got it. Its crazy.

Yep, your paying for what you see also, the backyard shop can do just as good as job for less money, but people see what LOOKS like a good shop so they pay more just for that.
I completely agree. I didn't look for the flashiest looking machine shop with all sorts of muscle cars. I looked around, made some calls. The one I went to wasn't the best looking, didn't have and show cars, but they talked me through every little thing that I was gonna get done. They took time out of there day to explain everything to me, and that was awesome. Besides that, they had done plenty of L's back in the day.

I can meet up, not sure what time you'd be driving through though. No Z though, yet again.
-
got it, let me know whats going on, as I have a few stock 280zx fpr's lying around, nothing special, but they worked, and your not too far away and atleast one of them worked well on my Z.

I don't know too much about the 240 lines, but I know they are smaller. I also don't know about the 2222 msd, but I had a 2225 MSD and it worked great, it would pump 100psi all day long. Can be had for 100 online. Might be able to get it at autozone.

Tony would you recommend a 2x4 plenum?!
The intake I am building I decided against a 2x4 plenum because i assumed it was way way way too small. For a boosted engine the intake volume should be 1.5 times the total engine displacement.
Maybe i'll build a spare 2x4 plenum during my welding class tomarrow for kicks, I could always sell it =)
If you decide to sell it, let me know, I've been considering building a plenum for a base setup, but my welding class just ended.
-
I wouldn't mind just a base line idea of what people in similar conditions are running, that way I can go buy some jets.
-
Would tuning on this setup be somewhat universal, seeing as how its under boost, or would I tune it for weather conditions, and then do the boost thing?
-
Goto your local true value and in the auto section they have unicoils. Its a coiled spring with a backbone and will also keep the hose from kinking under a severe bend.
-
I don't have any room for a parts car either, if not I wouldn't mind picking up a fairlady. But my parents have problems with one Z, that isn't a parts car.
-
does anybody know where I can buy a 4bbl carb adapter plate like this? I found one other on ebay for a VW.
-
any more ideas from anybody. All your posts are deffinitly helping out. I hope to have an estimate within a few weeks, and then off to file. I've decided to not work on the Z which should help(Xmas+full time student/part time work=no money till after xmas)
-
If you really need this stuff, I can give the guy a call that a bought my parts from. He still has most of the car left. He is right in NC and I thought about you when I drove down there to meet him. I got off in your town to get gas and thought of your old thread talking about people working on your car.
I might be able to purchase a 76 Fairlady come this spring that has been sitting for 19 years! So I am just buying the hard to find stuff when I can.
Yah, let me know, it won't be till after xmas before I can buy anything though.
Ever notice that old Z's are pretty much loved by everyone?

One of the best times I had driving my 78'(the only time on the open road actually) I passed a Viper GTS going the other way. I stared at his car, he stared at mine, and we exchanged thumbs up.
