  1. I really like the most recent manifold, it looks like it'd be a good design. For that low price I'd be skeptical, but worst case scenerio, I'd run to a local welding shop and have them touch up the welds. I know a few guys that do that on knock off manifolds, with good results. I also like the idea of having the wastegate pipe facing down to clear certain intake setups.

I'm DEFINITLY in, depending on the price, assuming that it stays fairly close to the qoute price, maybe 50-100 dollar diffrence. Put me down for a T3 setup, with a 38mm waste flange

  2. That joke is so 90's. For example, Boost Logic's "street car" with a 6-speed ran 8's in the 1/4 recently and, only a few weeks ago, broke the world record for fast standing mile for a street car - 229.7mph.

    Its a JOKE, like haha

  3. From what I read, its not that hard to pull off the triple carb turbo setup. Have quite a bit of the parts needed to pull it off. I'll let you know when I get it going.

  4. If you have a rc hobby store you can measure the lenght of the the part you need and go in with that measurement and buy a few turnbuckles. They look to be the same type take one of those plastic balls on the end with you and see if they have any that size. If not then go to the jy and pull some from a z. I think this is what your talking about.

    Example. turnbuckles.jpg

It looks like a stud, but with a ball on one side. Atleast thats what it looks like it should be.

Would an SU Z have these pieces?

  5. I have triple Mikuni 40's, and was wondering where I can get a linkage piece for it. I have the linkage arms and such. All I need is the little ball joint type piece, as I'm missing all 3. Its like a little ball, with a stud on the other stud I assume. Its the piece that connects the linkage arm to the linkage rod.

  6. on a 99, you don't need a conversion kit. As its already R-134a, just get a can of R-134a and get the hose for it. It goes over it on the car. Its REALLY EASY. Unless you have a leak, then it can be a PITA

  7. I will utilize a 2 inch carb spacer with a 3 inch tall carb hat with two 2 inch inlets. One for the TO4e turbine discharge, one for the paxton novi 1000 supercharger.

I don't mean to go against this, but how well will this actually work? The reason I say this is, the supercharger would be making boost at low RPM's and be pushing through the piping, and actually surge the turbo wouldn't it? You'd need some kind of way to regulate it where it wouldn't actually lag the turbo.

  8. A neighbor of mine does alot of business with china, and he said the reason for the cracking is the chinese grade stainless is very porous and thin and this makes it very prone to cracking. If you get something made in china, out of aluminum, then its fine, as there aluminum is near the same as ours. Its pretty much there stainless thats lacking quality.
