  2. I'm thinking about starting a new group/club on facebook for z cars and meets on the east coast. I post here frequently and i am gettin ready to build another z32 or lsx s130. ill prolly have the build progrees there an on here as well.   3. the motor in that orange datsun is a TBI 4.3 chevy vortec i believe. That isnt a GN engine nor is it a never version l36 or l67.
  4. Twalton, whats goin on man? We spoke awile ago when you were building this. I was interested in this swap as well but i want to see some pics of the steering colom vs header, and fender clearences. I was thinking of using the GTP long block with l36 fbody heads and intake manifolds.   9. I'm looking to build a budget 4.3 turbo powered 280zxT. After speaking with a memeber john scott i decided to look into this more. Only problem is that he has a 240z and im looking to do a 280zx. Is there anyone on the forums that has a 4.3 swapped in their zx? I wanted to see some pics to use as a reference? also whats all i hear about this steering issue with the zx steering shaft/box or what ever, that causes it to be left out of the swap kit world? heard there was some clearence issue? Technically if you can swap in a lt1, an retain stock exhaust manifolds the you should be beble to use the 4.3 stock manifolds as well.

  13. lol im not on the hybrid z forums much, notice how i dont own a z/zx or any variation. pm if intertested and ill send my #, body work is complete now it just needs to be painted.
  14. update been told that the 4.3 syclone turbo manifolds should fit. 4.3 build is now being researched.

  17. its just fustrating because unless you have a 240zx or olded s30 chassis car there is little to nothing out there for you. maybe i should jus suck it up and get a s30
  18. im gonna go check out the sy/ty forums and see if the jags that runs kit will work for the typoon motors. i doubt it would be that simple tho

  20. i have been looking around over at the s10 forums and have been curious about swappin in the vortec 4.3 in to the s130. jagsthat run has a kit for em, it should be pretty affordable and i could retain the sleeper apeal that i want with keepin the 280zx a v6 as opposed to a v8. I was also lookining to the forced induction option. wiether it be turbo, supercharger or n20. jsu curious if anyone has looked into this?

  22. I was curious what did you do as far as cooling goes? Radiator and fans-did you stay with the stock l36 rad and fans stock or did you do aftermarket? With the tranny swap what all had to happen with the driveshaft? Did the swap require changing out the clutch slave cylinder or the brake master cylinder? sorry for all the questions but curiousity is killing me
