  5. Still thinking about selling your 70 Z?

  6. As the title says, I am looking for an early Z two-knob JDM rally clock in good condition. It must be an early clock 1970-73, as these clocks have different lights/mounting hardware for Late 260Z and 280Z year cars. With or without an oscillator will be fine. (With is preferred). The clock MUST be confirmed working. Please PM or e-mail chioug AT gmail dot com Thanks!
  7. whatthedunk, PM me your price range, and what you're looking for. I may have a 1970 240Z for sale, #5998 for sale in the next few weeks. It is rust free (no rust on hatch, battery, floor pans, rails, dog legs, etc.) It runs strong, no real mods on it. Very original. I'm in Cupertino.
  8. I purchased a Z recently that is also 10/70, VIN HLS30-11651. What's yours?
  9. Hello there, I'm looking to purchase an R200 with a 3.9 ratio from a 280ZX 81-83 w/o Turbo, MT or 280ZX 80 2+2 MT. Please do not try and sell me an non-working diff. I prefer rebuilds, but will settle for ones in good non-rusted condition. I also need the following from a 280Z: 1. the mustache bar 2. the front differential mount and insulator 3. the rear transverse link mount Throw me a PM or reply to this thread with your asking price! I know what these are worth, as I can get a very capable R200 and goodies from Zbarn.com, but figured I'd shop around a bit. Thank you, spitz17
  10. Same as the ones in my 6/70!
  11. Yep! It's a horizontal L28, wtf right? haha

  16. hmm maybe, i'll into that during my research!
  17. After much debate and research. I have discovered my car is a true 1970 Series I 240Z. The VIN is way too low for a '71 and all of the Series I features, both in and out check off. The previous owner replaced the pillar badges and did away with the vents, which I will be putting back on the car. SEE: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1112673#post1112673
  18. Thanks a lot EvilC, I also have been looking through your build threads and trips etc. Sweet cars for sure! I removed the pillar emblems to look under. One of the previous owners cut a hole and put the ducts in to make it look like an exact reproduction of a series II car. So now there is one big hole for the venting, and three holes (triangle shape) that match with the "Z" emblem. HOWEVER, there are two holes covered in some kind of rubber sealant, that are 1.5" apart horizontal across the vent. I am thinking he tried to cover them up after replacing them. =) Now if only i can figure out why it's titled a 71... on zhome.com they said the lowest 71 was titled in #3000 something.. maybe they are wrong? I wonder if the date is correctable through the California DMV.
  19. I love the lime color.. never gets old, awesome grey too =) Heres mine! #5998
  20. I just bought a set off someone, but I'll keep you updated if I need another thanks!
  21. ^Correct... These are metal emblems that say 240Z that replace the Series II "Z" emblem on the quarter panels.
