  2. Thanks, yeah no one really believed me so that is why I had to post those. I thought this shell was so clean it was worth paying a bit extra for it. Also did you see how many of the parts are new? Even that insulator still has a tag on it!
  3. Thanks. I was going to fit the fender flares too, but I am having a hard time figuring out the fitment for the front ones? They really aren't labeled and either direction you fit them, its hard to say they really fit well.
  4. Ok so today the work started. Thanks to Micah, we were able to get the motor and trans out in under 2 hours!
  5. ^yep im a beginner, but i am a trials rider! I ride a black/ orange Gu Le. What's your name over there?
  6. ^till the day I die! yeah unfortunately the van is a work van for my parts company I run so I can't be adding turtle cars! ...yet. this was the extent of the last "turtle car"
  7. I am really starting to think that this is the color I want, but I will most likely do a black roof line still: Though I am not 100 % sure. I will probably decide the day I drop it off at the shop.
  8. ^Thanks. I figured that the lip could stay fiberglass as it would chip up etc, but i thought the CF would set it off. The flares look like they will fit up fine, and the quality is actually better than I had imagined. I will paint the car next week I believe, but saturday I will chop up the fenders and fit the flares so that I dont crack the new paint with the mods. What do people recommend for bolting the flares to the body?
  9. ^They are all body harness parts I'm sure. All of the body parts came today!!!! Finally! So Saturday I will pull the motor and cut the fenders up so that it will be ready to paint next week.
  10. Welcome to the club, I too have friends with skylines : Even have a friend with a GT4! I think Utah is the home of RHD cars?
  11. Finally decided to open up the motor and see what kind of shape it's in. Looks to be good aesthetically, but that really doesn't mean a lot.
  12. looks as described, but i havent done a compression test so who knows? they took pics for me etc they are very helpful.
  13. ^If you can give him it i would appreciate it if not i can figure it out.

  16. Introducing: The Ptolemy Support Vehicle Don't worry about the horrible paint job, it does its job fine!
  17. here are a few inspirational pics: I decided that for the size of project this is becoming I needed to get something to haul the car/ parts around. SO... I got this for the sole purpose of using it for the z project: 1993 Ford E350 V8 Tow Rated between 7 and 10000 lbs (This is the range I have found reported online) Also the interior already doesn't exist so I don't have to strip it. Biggest downfall: This thing is huge! here is a quick mock up of the direction this van is going:
  18. Does it matter what mounts are on the motor to work with your pan?
  19. I can't wait to see how it turns out! I just paypal'd ps.
  20. ok here is a pic of the motor all tucked away into the garage, or um tent! Also the car gave up the ghost I guess today? Won't turn over and the gas cap has gone missing? Really weird.
