  1. ^I will look soon. These are the housings I need for the HID conversion correct? I have never Converted any car, but want to on this.
  2. I have a key for the hatch, and a key for the ignition. that black one looked amazing, but that guy was really sketchy.
  3. o looks nice! I was looking at a black one in santa rosa, but the guy was really sketchy so I just avoided that all together. We'll have to compare our builds as we go! What are the full plans?
  4. I just hope that the heater is an easy fix. i ll have to go dig through the tech section and see what people have for heater fixin'!
  5. 1.So I think the regulator is bad on the drivers door window. I got the window up and solid, but I am going to need to find a regulator and replace it. 2.Heaters never work 3. Got the tail lights figured out. Just a fuse had blown (was my first guess). That fuse box was pretty hard to find! Some lucky guessing and there she was! Here are some more pics from today. I will take some underbody ones tomorrow.
  6. ^I really did buy gloves so i could make it home! 3 hour drive in the sub freezing temperatures! Totally worth it!
  7. ^I can't tell my only secret! It was actually more than I had anticipated paying, but worth it. I just took my wife for a ride around the block and a guy and his wife followed us home and asked if we'd sell it already! Of Course I said no! The car does have three minor problems: 1. Tail Lights aren't turning on with the headlights (break lights work) 2. Heater doesn't work 3. The Driver's window is already off the track. I rolled it down once and that was that. I got to drive home in 20 degree weather with the window down! Aside from these three minor issues the car is excellent. I am sure all three should turn out to be easy fixes. Maybe the rears are as simple as just bulbs even?
  8. So I have wanted a 240z for a long time (since I could drive), but I never really could find one I really liked, or didn't have time for a project, or whatever. Anyways I put up a want ad last week and a guy 3 hours from my house gave me a call. I saw a couple of camera phone pics and decided it was worth having a look. This wasn't a $200 steal, but I got a good deal non the less. Presenting: 1972 240z 71182 Original Miles New paint job and a radio, but the rest is all original. There is really no rust. It was pretty late, so I will take a ton of pics tomorrow when I get a chance.
  9. It has only been there outside for 3 months. The owner took it as trade for a motorcycle he was selling. I ll find out how it is for sure tomorrow. I'm skeptical as well, but gotta keep my hopes up.
  10. I know that with classic cars it comes down to "whats it worth to you?" But I thought I would throw this out here to a group of enthusiasts and get your opinions. The car is a 72, and has no rust. New paint in the last couple of years. 75K original miles. I found it by putting up a want ad and the guy called me up locally. Anyways I have seen all kinds of pricing on z's so far, and honestly I am going to make it a Hybrid Z anyway, but what do you think a fair price range would be based on these images? I plan to go up tomorrow and make an offer/ drive her home.
  11. Well grammatically it would be the "tire's" age right?
  12. thanks! yeah I want the screens for sure. oh and u are in utah ? sweet. i want to see yours before I start on mine.
