  1. Oh, and datsundriver87, you might get lucky with some acetone and a rag. Use a little elbow grease and it might come off. My sidemarkers and tails were spray painted lightly with black when I got it. Guess the guy thought they would look cool. They cleaned right up!
  2. Actually, I thik the hazard idea would be kinda cool. The only problem I see is having to fab up the reflectors under the yellow part like the red part has. But good news is that I have the piece, like I said earlier, with a perfectly good red part that has the "280 ZX" in perfect, yet dirty, condition. The only thing wrong with it is the yellow part has a hole in it to the left of the keyhole. not quite as round, and a little bigger than the keyhole. Wiring and working bulbs are in it. That is, if you're interested. Feel free to pm me if you'd like.
  3. I have one with good red, but a hole near the keyhole. Thats what happens when trying to load two footlockers, a rucksack, and three duffel bags in a z. ha. Now I have one of the basic plate lights that goes over the key cylinder.
  4. It appears that's already in the origional post. I posted all the info I knew. True spokes. I might be able to find them on their website (that I heard about about 3 hours ago looking through a hot rod mag.). Edit: Holy cow! I just looked on their site and the cheapest set is $1599.99. These rims look good, but not that good! I'm glad the previous owner got 'em...
  5. Looked through every page and didn't see my wheels posted, so here we go. True spokes that came with the car. Sadly, though they are pretty good looking, I haven't had any luck finding the wheels I want. The closest thing I've seen in this thread was posted by Warren on page 6. Anyone have any info on similar wheels to the ones he posted?
  6. Here's my 79 280zx. Well, the day that I brought her home. She was all stock and needed some work to get her pretty again. At the moment she looks ok, but still needs a bit of work. So far I've added seats, a harness for the drivers side, cleaned up the engine bay a bit, de-tinted the back window, and pulled up the nasty carpet and such. And before you ask, no, I don't have the valve cover anymore, sadly.
