  1. is that the CF hood you have listed in your sig?

     

     

    thats is a only one of its kind Betamotorsports CF nomex core hood w/ subframe for semi stock mounting... the headers are just the sanderson block huggers.... ceramic coated..... and the Dog is Bher...... he ends up in a lot of my pics... he seems to my Z guard dog....

  2. did i mention the GX NGV gets FREE carpool lane status...... and there are a TON of NG stations going in here in california around us... there is one over on topanga i think and there is one over off balboa... and there is one... I think about 7 in the valley now teheh i just tried to build my self an SI on the honda site...... lol 27k for the SI i would take home..... scary stuff.....

  3. I am 100% open everyday of the week except this Thursday.... and Ummm yea Wednesday mornings...... I go hiking with this girl..... where in northridge are you at?.... lol I stopped going into to the Porter ranch parking lot during the day b/c of all the ****ing speed bumps.... I KILLED my z31 on the speed bumps by walmart..... face plant into asphalt... cracked my radiator wide open and took off my nose...... at least at night i can duck and weave in the isles... call me tomarrow 818-621-3826.... we can work something out for a time I am sure..... I am going to go to bed now..... I am suposta be up in 3 hours to go hiking....... lol well **** there gose my chances with this hot chick....

     

     

    and you know the worst thing with the low exhaust........ sometimes you NEVER know how uneven the road can be untill your exhaust hits something.............

LoL I am not fearful or anything being broken.... especialy you blowing out the rear since i got a r200 in the works... milage is a joke.... the biggest thing is making sure you dont gut my exhaust by hitting a speed bump going 45 or something.... I wasnt going to get new rubber since when I do my swap I am going to 5 lug and going to go to panasport 18x8s the tires still have..... I dont know 4-5 months of life left in them... they are at approx.... 55% tread left.... but I am hard on tires.. partly b/c of the road i have to drive everyday... partly b/c of the way i drive it.... its going in thursday to get a complete check and some other TLC....... check my photoalbum pics >_>

  5. also for a few more you can get something with a 6... like VW GLI or a Subaru (not an STI)..... or even a SLICK Ford 500, or a Chevy SS cobalt. and i believe this year a supercharged SS is available..... lots of potential there...(and i believe its about 20k) Unless you are hell bent on those 3 cars.... I would shop around and test drive... and trade in that goddamn POS geo...... >_> I know its not the same... but i test drove 15+ different types of cars before i choose to get a 240 again.. IMO the feel of a car is far more important then numbers and what not.... also if your are FAST you can get a NEW 2005..... and get a few K knocked off the sticker b/c tis last years....

  6. not a huge fan of the new Si body, I did love my civic hybid a ton tho... and it was quick for under 100 horse.... it has a TON of troque at minimal RPMs... too bad they dont make a stick hybrid anymore... they are a kick to drive.... and I never had a problem with my Civic and loved it to death... untill i gave it to my sister after she wrecked her escourt.... if i where you I would get her a Focus SVT they are awsome little tuner cars....and i think they are just about the same price...

    How about you and me go out for a drive in your car and see if I can handle it :D I'd be too scared to do any crazy driving in it, but would love to have the opportunity to ride in one!

    Its going into storage in Simi it looks like.. I don't trust my brother with the keys... I leave on feb 22nd for Fort knox... then it looks as if i am going to Iraq........ I am not particular worried about it getting stolen :evil: its insured for 30k as of last week (****ing Allstate wanted receipts for everything), last time i let it sit for a long time It messed up umm a ton of stuff... as well as i had a mouse living in my engine bay.. BTW i was kidding about being able to handle it... its not too bad.... its only problem is my exhaust... its got bad clearance... it drives fine... but speed bumps or large surface changes in the road are scary....... I've knocked out the collector gasket 3 times in 6 months....... this all will be solved when john C puts in coil-overs and some other ... toys... sometime this year when i have money again....

  8. Sadly' date=' the 240-60-80Z has one of the worse shapes in terms of aerodynamics of cars in recent memory. It has small cross sectional area, which greatly helps. But apples-to-apples, it had more drag and un-downforce (lift) than cars like the Chevy Chevelle. Basically, the reason is that for good aero performance, the car’s body should be smooth and swoopy in some places, but sharp and abrupt in others. Generally, the smooth part should be up front – the grill area, the headlights, the hood/windshield juncture. The sharp and abrupt part should be in back – the trunk, rear of the cabin, etc. The Z is swoopy and smooth in precisely the wrong places, and sharp and abrupt – again! – in precisely the wrong places. It’s almost as if the Z’s designers worked long and hard to deliberately do a bad job on the car’s aerodynamics. And to add to the injustice – cars like the VW Rabbit and Ford Pinto had far superior aerodynamics![/quote']

     

    dose that mean i need to swap my Z so i drive looking out the hatch? >_> or swap the shell around..... err sorry ill stop beign cute..... But let me ask this is a 240z more aerodynamic in Reverse then it is when in 1st gear?
