I don't know I was kinda like thinking Maybe i wanted to get some thing Historical, for my next Z, restoration at some point in the Future, I was thinking what could i do that is historical Significant? also if anyone has experience or owns/owned one can i get an idea of what I am getting in to price wise...

     

    So far possible ideas are:

    "First 100" - hunt down one of the HLS20s that in the the first batch to make it state side

     

    "Vintage Z Program Cars" - see if i can locate one.... I know there are more then a few floating around...

     

    "432Z-R" - possibly restore from the ground up (leaning towards this once b/c i would be afraid to drive it a little bit and run it in historic races)

     

    "BRE Roadster/240z" - I have a Infatuation with Bob Sharp and would flip tricks to get a Bob Sharp car... restoring one would be even more fun. (from what i under stand most of these cars met the crusher?)

     

    "280Z/ZX/ZXT"- see if i can find one of the IMSA cars (thinking title might be a pain on these..?)

  2. I don't want to even bother looking until I know I am able to buy it, otherwise i ma going to cry.... I am going to go look for a lawyer tomorrow i guess... I mean i really don't have time to be dealing with this kind of stuff... If they can't resolve it in time or i cant find a new"ish" 350Z I guess I will be looking for someones Rx-7 LS1 car or something next year.... I was just really in love with my 350z..... I had storage in California all set up so i could get my baby deliver to me as soon as i got back. >_>

     

     

    anyone know the laws on how long they have to payout? i mean making me wait 4 months, seems excessive, especially when I am paying for the loan payments AND STILL MAKING PAYMENTS FOR INSURACE out of pocket, i mean....... it means I cant afford to buy a a new car until they pay off the loan hell i talked the bank, and they wont even consider a new loan until they are paid off...

     

    I mean 4 months seems like a LONG time, also I signed all the papers to LEGALY transfer title to them, like almost 2 weeks ago, and they now have possesion of the keys and EVERYTHING, I think dosnt that make them legal owners of my car?

  3. My 350Z was stolen on Dec 29th, from the Fort Gordon, Barracks, here in Georgia, My Insurance is California Based, as well as i am a resident legally of California, although i had Georgia Reg on the car b/c i am stationed here....

     

    My Questions is Allstate, is dicking me on time lines for resolution, as we all know they are NOT MAKING anymore Track 350Zs meaning for me to get a replacement I need to act fast and find a 06 that's been sitting or i am stuck getting a used track, not something I particularly want to happen either. The worst part is I am getting ready for a deployment, meaning i don't know what it means but it means once i deploy my hopes of replacing my precious Z are nil.

     

    The insurance company is telling me they want 80days to finish the reports, they have already had it for 32 days and I sent them ALL the paperwork they requested in a more then timley manner... Do i have a legal stance to expidite this process? is there a way to umm sue if thier delaying causes my inability to replace my car? I knwo in real estate if you drag you feet you can get hit with a breach of contract, and get sued for damages or something >_>, what about my rental car fees? if they are going to take 80 days am i not entitled to a rental car even if i didnt get renters insurance?! I sure as hell am not paying $650 a month for a car to a bank when I have no such car or replacement.....

  4. ok i bought this 350z here in GA, well they gave me GA title instead of CA title, b/c they told me i was going to save all this money on stuff if i bought it as a GA resident (military so i can do that kinda) so now I try to get plates and the DMV wont let me get them in GA b/c i dont carry GA insureance ( i hav allstate and its a CA plan but i am covered no matter where i am and CA insurance is ALOT better then GA minimums) so after hours of arguing they still wont let me....

     

    So, I want to reg in Cali.... so i find out i have to TAKE the car to Cali according to AAA and DMV, so i figure out after hours more i can use a REG343 form to get the VIN validated and i got an MP to do it... now the Cali DMV is dicking me b/c its a 48 state car and needs to be smogged... but i am like ITS NOT in California there is no CA smog ref here in GA, there has to be some abatement fee or something that can be done... what if i was stationed in Hawaii or over seas with the car and registration came due.... how the hell do i get smogged then... well the stupid *$#*^ at DMV said well the regulations overseas are easyer over seas so you should register it there... at that point i was so fed up with DMV stuff i cussed her out and hung up.......

     

    so...my question is HOW HE HELL can i get plates for this car? anyone know a way to get this done.... I cant be the first service member to have something like this happen... if anyone can give me a heads up I would Appreciate it....

  5. How about in under 800 miles or normal driving??

     

     

    Well I did tonight... was on a hill tried to go after a light it wouldn't engage, peddle sunk to the floor, and felt dead like no cable was attached, and wouldn't shift to save my life....

    rolled ti back down parked it checked the engine, let it cool down, go back in and magically the clutch worked again, so i started driving after I shifted into 3rd the clutch utterly grenade, wouldn't engage at all peddle gave same dead feeling... i couldn't even find a sweet spot to get it to roll the car.... so I am assuming i have no teeth on my brandnew 350z's clutch.... all in all a GOOD night~!/....:twisted:
