yem73z
i have some more progress on the rear diff. I ended having to notch a section of the rear frame to clear the r230 pumkin though. i still need to reinforce it more with some 3/8in plate to stiffen the rear frame. i even manage to mount the abs wheel speed sensors. i'll let the pictures do the talkin. Pharaohabq
Hey that's looking pretty nice! You might want to paint that welded in cut before you install too much more back there. I'm not sure your plans for the underbody. but nice job, I'm jealous. you've got some purty toys.
yem73z
Yeah I was gonna paint the frame area I notched, but I still need to reinforce it more. I ran out of time thats why I didnt finish the reinforcment....i hate working on my car the same day I have to go to work at my job, it makes me want to call in and stay home to finish up. So when I find more time to finish the rear, i'll paint on some etching primer and then some por15 over that to be on the safe side. I think I'm gonna gather all of my pictures of this build and put it in the members project section....what do u guys think, I have no clue where to put my post. 260DET
Member's project section seems like a good place, I was wondering why a diff conversion was in the V6 section
Pharaohabq
you won't get much feed back in the members area. The Diff conversion is on his V6 powered VQ car. just another thread tho. you're right wrong section for pure diff.
