bobbyc
i have a 97 4runner and the return line for the power steering is a bit mangled. i need to replace it...but the replacment piece is hard to find. it's the end that messed up, so i could easily cut it off...but that little hump holds the hose on. is there a way to recreate that bump so i don't have to replace the entire hard line? if i could i could just get a little longer rubber hose and reconnect. thanks

m4xwellmurd3r
Yeah, for whatever reason when he pasted the link here it created a link to a search result, but the text itself was the right link. expensive ish kit but I'd like to have it. I've had so many times when I wish I had such a tool.
RB26powered74zcar
I know I saw a tool posted here (HBZ) that did the same thing, and alot less expensive. Just don't recall who/when posted it... Edit: I think it may be in a RB build thread. RB26powered74zcar
Kinda, sorta... The one I remember seeing had a handle to roll the tube some how.
getoffmyinternet
They sell them individually if you just need the one size. I'm sure there's a knockoff out there too If you're going to make your own a tubing cutter would be a better start. Nigel
Unless he's using 3" intercooler pipes for his power steering line, I suspect your standard $15 tube flaring tool will do the job just fine. They'll typically flare lines up to 5/8"Myhttp://www.harborfreight.com/double-tube-flaring-tool-kit-66534.html link Nigel'73 240ZT
