GeeZ
I am having a real issue with the shifting in my '78 with LS1 and T56. When we received the JTR kit the trans mount was so poorly fabricated from JTR and it was completely unusable. So, we fab'ed our own. With the JTR front mounts and it is a very difficult to shift and you must use two hands to put in reverse. So, if there is LS1 install with the 6sp trans I would like to view it and maybe we can figure it out. Appreciate any response and I'll take the owner of the car to lunch. Thanks. GeeZ
Do you mean JCI mounts? Yes,you are correct. The parts were purchased by my nephew. Have any suggestions? This car is no fun to drive with this problem. Edited July 12, 2011 by GeeZ
GeeZ
Is your reverse lockout solenoid hookedup? Don't know, I will check. What difference would it make? Thanks.
Ironman
If its not hooked up then it should be very hard to shift through. When It has power connected through it should be easy. (I am not 100 percent sure). But look into that system.
