dice
Hi guys im from the Philippines i called Rota today and asked them when will RK-R be released. They said its around September or October. Also the only size that is available 15x8. About the Rota Grid V i asked them if they will produce size 15x8 -13 and 15x9 -19. They are willing to make those sizes but there will be a volume order. Anyone interested? I will call Rota and confirm how many pieces they need for them to make these size. Thanks
texis30O
Those sizes are disappointing... to say the least..... I hope my patiene will hold out... other wise I am going another route.

DeLorean
I would probably be in for a set, let us know what they say.
codered
Im in for the 15x9's!
DeLorean
I sent an email to Kim, the NA distributer, and asked how many orders would be needed. My plan is to run these wheels without flares, would anyone else be using these on a non flared S30? If I get any more details, I'll update this post. Also, if things look good for a group buy, I will start a thread in the group buy section.
yhlz
If they make it 15x9 O offset, it will sit flush. A member on here runs the Shakotans 15x9 0 offset and they sit flush with the fender. Negative offset with 15x9 might rub.
DeLorean
Yea, you are right about that. If I can 0 offset I'll go that route, but if the group buy ends up being a negative offset I'll stretch a tire on, 205 or something...
yhlz
Let's hope Rota replies fast. I'm about to jump on a different set of wheels.
dice
Sorry guys for the late reply. Taled to a guy named Philip he said that if we want staggerd size 15x8 front and 15x9 back with negative offset. The minimum order is 80 sets. texis30O
ok....what about the 17" wheels any word on those?
DeLorean
That's a lot of wheels...but I think the interest might be there. I just ordered a set of 15x8 0et, but if this pushes through I'd still put my name in. I bet a lot of the AE86 guys would be interested, maybe even some miata guys who want to go wide. If any of you guys happen to belong to any other forums, post up the info.
cockerstar
I'm pushing for the RK-r in the same sizes we had the rb-r done in, 17x9 -13 and 17x9.5 -19. Alternatively, I'd like to see the same offsets and widths on a 15" wheel.
DeLorean
I'd certainly like to see some cars run those RKRs in 17s, too big for me but no doubt some people will pull it off well. I really wish they made them in 16s, that would be a no brainer for me but alas.
cockerstar
My only problem with 16" wheels is the lack of tire availability! I definitely think that a 16" wheel gives a very aesthetic balance between the size of the wheel vs the size of the sidewall though.
fxmdb
Any news on these wheels , i like to get a set of 15x9 in - offset , I don't wanna run the fender flares .
yhlz
Any news on these wheels , i like to get a set of 15x9 in - offset , I don't wanna run the fender flares . If you don't want to run flares, you will want the 15x8 0 offset. You can also find a wheel that is 15x9 0 offset. Those should fit fine. The 15x9 might require fender rolling. ModernS30
I know that TrumpetRhapsody and I are interested in the RK-R in similar or the same sizing as the RB and RB-R group buy. Here is an image of an RK-R next to what I believe is a real Wat. Edited October 10, 2011 by ModernS30
