  1. The secon airdam you posted is most likely from Japan. If you look at the Zs from Star Road or Rocky Auto (the Zs with airdam without brake ducts) they have similar airdams.
  2. Interested but I would need pricing first.
  3. I would say...save a few grands for that. I believe that is from Arita Speed? I may be wrong.
  4. Saw this ad in a magazine. I looked at the website but they refer you to your local performance shop. Has anyone been able to buy from anywhere? also saw this ad for datsun driveshafts (wolfckreekracing.com)! pretty cool if you ask me.
  5. Makaofox, Californian mirrors? Who's the maker?
  6. Borg Warner only came on the last year turbo ZX if I remember correctly.
  7. Do you have Vitaloni Californians? Or a Californian style mirror? Where did you buy it from? Thanks!
  8. You're just going to have to settle with what is out there. What will the Z be used for mainly?
  9. It will clear suspension but may not clear the fenders if you are at a lower height than stock..
  10. That was it? NICE! haha. Have you had a chance to do a 1/4 mile run yet? How do you think the car was running with the previous setup w/stock turbo?
  11. JPNGarage, Do you happen to have photos of a staggered setup on a car?
  12. You said that when you first bought the car, it had overheating issues. I don't remember reading what you did to remedy that. What was the cause?
  13. I've heard that the original or OEM fender mirrors have great visibility. I guess I will be asking owners at the next Z meet I go to.
  14. Thank you Miles, just the answer I was looking for. Is the visibility pretty good on the replacements you got? I've seen some cheap mirrors in the past and the mirrors are either horrible, distorted, or have horrible blind spots. And thank you all for the suggestions.
  15. I've been eyeing the MSA bullet mirrors for a while but have been hesitant to buy them. For the members that have them, do they provide good visibility? http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/classic02e02 I know that the $300 fender mirrors would be the best options but any other suggestions on good visibility mirrors would be appreciated. Thanks!
  16. Make sure you check all of your ground wires (as that was my issue for a whole year), especially the one to the alternator in case you forgot when switching it out. And from my understanding, the ICM sends power to the coil.
  17. That's what it's called. Couldn't quite remember. Thanks guys, i sent you both messages.
  18. That's a very good point that brought up about destroying the splitter. I guess it would just depend on one's usage of their Z. I'm highly considering a splitter since it seems like it would give the ultimate support; however, some of the simpler solutions (like Lazeum and Litman's pipe solution) may just be enough since my Z will just be a non-track weekend car.
  19. All of your guys' suggestions are awesome. Keep them coming, definitely!
  20. As stated in the title, I am looking for the windshield louver panel that is below the windshield. I am also interested in obtaining 1st gen front signals. Please PM me. Thanks.
  21. I've heard that the airdam actually bends at freeway speeds. That's why I'm looking for simply solutions; whether it is to make a splitter or some type of brace.
  22. I would love to get the fiberglass versions of the Type 1 Airdams but there are good deals for the polyurethane ones right now that makes it hard to pass up. Are there any specific ways to keep the polyurethane airdams from slouching or deforming over time? What have some of you guys done to keep it from losing its form? Any examples would be nice. Also, have any of you guys found it hard or difficult to prep and paint the polyurethane airdams? Thanks.
  23. Double check all of your grounds. edit: seems you found the answer. sorry for the post.
