akeboshi
hello, Im in the final stages of parts ordering for my N/A-T swap and im hunting down fittings I will need for the build/startup of the engine. My question is where in the heck does the turbo get its oil supply from? I have a stock 280zxt oil cooler with the block adapter and it has a small plug on the side. would that be a good place to get the supply from? If not then where should I get it from? also will i need a restrictor of any kind if im using the stock 12mm banjo fitting? If so what kind of restrictor do I need? I planned to originally come off the oil pressure sender but it seems kind of ghetto to me if I can hook it up all factory like. let me know please or at least show me a pic. Ive been searching this for a couple of days, and its getting old looking. marcus
Xnke
... Have you LOOKED at the factory car? The FACTORY supply line comes off the oil pressure sending unit!
akeboshi
No boss, I havent looked at the factory setup. If I had access to a factory 280zxt I wouldnt ask the question.

slownrusty
I hope this helps, I actually created a thread on this about 6 or more years ago (yikes!) when I did this upgrade, you might find it if you search and add my username "slownrusty", but here are all the pictures from that original thread and some pointers: Stock oil feed hard line to the turbo: Stock banjo bolt: Stock oil fitting and sender to the gauge (bell on the right), threads on the right side of the block: The parts (hose, fittings) you need for your new oil feed: Close up of the oil fitting: New adapter fitting that I had the opening welded in and then re-drilled for the oil restrictor Re-using the oil fitting and then the I made the Earls hoses. Top hose is the oil feed with the above mentioned restrictor, hose below connects to my mechanical oil pressure gauge in the dash. Another view on the block without the Earls braided hoses connected Cheers and good luck - Yasin
