Rota RB-R 17x8.5 +4 offset. What size tires?

Recommended Posts

Just got a set of Rota RB-R 17x8.5 +4 offset just wanted to know what size tires to go with?

I got a 73 240Z with coilovers 5way adjustable with eibach springs. And bought fender flares. I got 16s 225/50/16 all around on the car right now. Was thinking of going 245 or 255.??

Any ideas or pics? Thanks

Running 245/45/17's all the way around and the tires do rub on the rear. The tires catch the inner fender just above the fender opening. The fender rubs the tire sidewalls over bigger bumps or hard turns. 235 might clear with no problem.

I'm currently running these in the rear of my car.

225/50/16 16x8 +10 w/ 10mm spacer in the front.

245/40/17 17x8.5 +4 w/ 10mm spacer in the rear.

It is currently at stock ride height but the tires do fit within the fender line.

Pat1,

I believe your car has the best Stance/ wheel combo.

Do you have lowering springs with stock suspension components? or are you using coil overs? I recently acquired a set of rotas 17X8.5 +4 offset and have a early 74' 260Z with Stock suspension. I assume I will need to roll the fenders, will I also need to use spaces to clear the stock spring perches? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
