Flattops for '75 l28 N42/N42?

Hi I am in the proccess of rebuilding my engine:

I ordered flattop pistons, the guy asked what year was my car. I told him that I needed flattops I want to install in my '75 l28. I paid for the pistons + 80 USD shipping + 100 USD duty taxes... and after waiting 2 weeks I received dished pistons. That really ruined my day.

Now I want to be sure there will be no such mistake again, so I ask for your help:

From what year of production and which model I need to buy flattop pistons to fit my '75 280Z N42?

Thanks!

They should work just fine, I've not heard of differences in piston pin geometry that would affect anything. Just make sure that you get the right diameter pistons for your cylinder bore (i.e. +0.5mm if you've overbored by 0.5mm).

You should try to find part number for your pistons, that would avoid any confusion as well.

I have however a set of +0.5mm flat top in quite good shape that came out from my block (no more than 5000km). Rings are already broken in so you might need new ones but if your dished pistons are +0.5mm, rings that came with would most likely fit.

They are ITM units for info.

I'm travelling to Poland once a month (around Krakow/Katowice/Tychy area), I could bring them over with me if you'd be interested. Regarding cost, I was going to use them as ashtrays or pen pot so it would be small :)
