rossman
Neat swap. What made you got this route vs. an sr20det or something more modern? You have your work cut out for you. Check out the information that texis30O has posted here and here. A search on "tubrotom" will come up with more information. Try using Google: "turbotom site:hybridz.org" Did you get the water injection system with it?

rossman
the whole sr20 thing was getting old and plus i love inline 6 That's cool. I can relate. no i got carb set up I am referring to WATER injection not FUEL injection. All TT's are carb'd. Water injection is used to cool the intake charge in order to supress detonation. TT's water injection system is a pretty slick passive system.
texis30O
Search my name for posts started, I scanned in all of Toms literature that he used to send out with the kits as well as a few supplemets that he sent for water injection, any other questions let me know..... texis30O
I was looking into the Redline Weber kit. But there is a huge problem with that kit...... it is $5000.00 for ignition, fuel, and ecu...... I wonder what it would take to get the DIY throttle body to run the kit?
texis30O
This could seriously be my answer to a few issues....... Now if I can just get my tranny to hold together......

GreenState
I'm just curious if you can close the hood with the air filter on the carb....or is it going to stick through a hole? That would be kinda cool...
dhartig
It just makes it. I had to "crush" my air filter about 1/16 and make sure it has a flat nut on top.
texis30O
Mine fit without issue. I had switched to a newer top that was a filter to try and allow as much air in as possible....
