Guest Anonymous
Jon... the pictures are coming up "inacessible". I am looking forward to seeing them!
Guest Anonymous
TZ, it appears something isn't working. Try these. If that doesn't work, click on the link under my pic and then go to the appropriate folder. Jon Mounts Header
Guest Anonymous
cannot get action . will try later. I know there should be a lot of interest in Ford mounts.
blueovalz
It says it's "The File You Are Looking For Is Inaccessible".
Racin_Jason
Looks to me like you might have the pics in a private folder. Yahoo requires you make the photos "public" in order for anyone that isnt logged in under yor email to see them. Jason
jeromio
Yahoo just turned "Public Folders" into a "Premium Service" (which means they want dollars).
Guest Anonymous
The lost roll of film has been found! Though I'm missing some pics, at least there are some here that may help somebody with their Ford install. Engine Mounts Header Mods Regards. Guest Anonymous
All folders are tagged "Public" I thought you needed to purchase premium services to view the high-res images, though anyone can view the regular images. Hmmm. Maybe you have to sign-up to Yahoo to view them??? Looks like it's time to get a better Pay service. Any suggestions? Jon
Guest Anonymous
Try this... View my photos on PictureTrail

alsil
Hey guys, I have finally got the pictures developed of the new crossmember, check them out! New Pics So far this has been perfect, it would take a truck to run over this to damage it. Al

Guest scca
BEAUTY! thats what i was thinking of.. this is what Mike made right (Mike D that is) ... all i would have changed is made the end plate longer to spread the load out more..... those Z rails are thin....... but- u still used 2 different brands of headers right? i need it to work with out of the box headers.... nice job done on the x-member does look good! alsil
Mostly I used the other header because of the steering shaft...the stock steering shaft would be lower and wouldn't cause the same problem. the stock shaft is like 3/8" thick (about) and mine's around 1" (sliding sleeve)....plus the rack end is longer so it's like 2" higher... I would guess that the block huggers would work....especially if you offset the engine 3/4" like in JTR. Mine's dead center. Plus there is a bit of room to lower it (maybe 1/4"). The reason I like this design is all the weight is on the top of the rail pushing down, and a 4"x2" surface is going to hold a lot better than 2 bolts taking all the stress. This literally is drop in, drill 4 holes, bolt in. I'll have more pics soon, looking for the other roll I forgot to bring to have processed. Man, I gotta get a digital! Guest scca
hmmm i really wonder if it will clear the block huggers as is... adding a heim to the steering shaft isnt a big deal as long as the headers miss the mounts and crap.. guess its time to give him a call and see how his coilover install went! get a digital camera man! join the 90's.. waaait a minute we arent in the90's anymore
73BOTIZ
I have a spare one here that I built for my Cleveland. I am willing to loan it out for a trial fit for anyone who needs it. Mike D.
Guest Anonymous
Yuppers, if I were to ever do this again I think I'd go the crossmember route. Did MikeBotiz weld that up for you AL? That is beautiful! I can't wait to see it in the car. Jon
Guest scca
what headers did you use? or did you make yours fit the mounts?
Guest Anonymous
Mike, I made the headers (Hooker Block huggers) fit the mounts. Still too labor intensive for mass production. Jon
alsil
Yea, Mike welded it up for me. Did a great job too. Didn't get a good look at it at MSA, tough to see it under the car, huh? So when's the next meet? AL
