TieFighter88
Just got a fresh new, virgin Front air Dam, very nice. No holes drilled out, no trimming or anything. What is the best way to mount the air dam? She is Fiberglass, and shouldn't have the flexing issue... Haven't found detailed posts about different mounting techniques for front air dams... Is there a way you wish you mounted your front air dam? I am asking this before I just drill holes and bolt her up... cgsheen
Mine's from MSA, I just used the stock front valence mount points: 2 bolts in the fender, 2 (or 3 if you like - I did) bolts in the headlight bucket. We mounted my son's on his '76 the same way.
GOTHALOSISM
Yup just line it up and bolt it on. When I had a kit on I used double sided tape to keep it lined up for the bolt holes. Once I got them drilled I took off the tape.

GOTHALOSISM
Depends on the air dam, I know the msa types 1-3 are in front of.

GOTHALOSISM
Are you talking the front spoiler lips like the BRE ones, or the whole bumper cover style?

GOTHALOSISM
I think that one goes from behind, use some jack stands to hold it up and see what looks best to you.
