You should actually be looking into the 240sx KA tranny swap since its very possible to find a KA tranny for $100 to $150 and they are literally everywhere. I actually got my KA tranny from a junkyard on a half off day for $60 (its in FL though). What happened to your auto? ctc Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 The KA is a nice swap, but you still need the L series bellhousing. If switching from auto to the KA, you would need both manual transmissions, not just one. There are also some minor internal mods to get the KA to work with the L series bell housing.
