Z Fire
I am building a L28 stroker motor with an offset ground LD28 crank with 85mm stroke. I am running into interference between the crankcase and the rod caps and will have to grind material off the crankcase but how much ? So far I took off about 1mm with a Dremel and all rotates without touching. How much clearance do I need to avoid contact under load conditions? Any advice would be appreciated. PMC raceengines
I do my engines with a mill now and i leave at least 1.2mm , i also made a crank and rod with the big stroke to check , so i did not have to fit the good crank in a dirty block ,
