tooquick260
Now here is my cooler install.... The cooler is a 96 pass mesa cooler left over from my dads days of air cooled VW's days... Using some 1" 1/8 aluminum stock and -8 stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings using a Mishimoto oil filter adapter plate. Don't hate me for the STP filter.... better than FRAM.. Got my spacer for the 240sx throttle body, gotta get a friend to tig weld up the intake. Then do some port matching. Lots of work to do and not enough time or money. Next will be intercooler mount.!!! Edited February 24, 2013 by tooquick260
tooquick260
Random shot of the cars in the driveway. Moms G35 coupe, Dads 2dr Tahoe. Cars you can't see... Bro's 300zx N/A, S10 truck with 350 V8, KIA Rio ( gotta have one car with good gas mileage in the family) and a friends Volvo that flew to Europe for a month. Z Fire
Cool man. Who has a tiled garage floor ?
tooquick260
Well when my parents bought the house 10 years ago they garage was closed in and used as an extra bedroom. They had a stud wall with dry wall with heat and a/c. So now I get to park my car in there and work on it!
BluDestiny
I hope you didn't overpay for all that stuff. You also did exactly what I did for the oil cooler mounting. Also don't see an oil pan, is it hiding somewhere?
tooquick260
Ha,,, oil pan on the motor? That will be addressed when I do the install.
Milenko2121
Ha,,, oil pan on the motor? That will be addressed when I do the install. are you going to tap a new hole for the oil return?
tooquick260
Yeah thats what I was planning. For the turbo build I am removing the head and putting on a freshened up P90 head! I figure I will lift the motor up and remove the oil pan. Either put a turbo oil pan on or drill and tap the one I have.
BluDestiny
Drill and tap the one you have an use an AN fitting. Will look much cleaner. I got a stock turbo pan and I'm going to be running just a rubber drain hose. Looks fugly Edited February 26, 2013 by BluDestiny
