redzedturbo
Okay me and xnke built a turbo ( t04e 50 trim turbonetics/ stock .63 a/r turbine bored to fit .76 t31 wheel with a 3/8'' spacer welded to the manifold with studs) anyway the intake was removed as with all the wiring and when i hooked it all back up my temp gauge in the dash no longer works! What would cause this i have checked the wiring at the thermostat housing what gives? everything in the car works but this......
big-phil
Try a continuity test from the plug at the thermostat to the plug on the gauge there could possibly be a break in the wire after removing the intake manifold. I've also had this happen on my 78 but it always seems to be at the thermostat I will wiggle it unplug it and plug it back in and eventually it will start working again
djwarner
The oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge share the same power supply. If your oil pressure gauge is working, the problem is almost certainly at the sensor or the wiring to the gauge.

FricFrac
The temp gauge for MS (and the stock ECU) should be the CHTS which is different than the sensor on the thermostat housing for the temp gauge...
