Ont240
Anyone have experience comments on VR stage 1 (06032-06-038) or stage2 (06030-06-038) for 280 zx turbo http://www.ebay.com/itm/VR-Stage-2-Clutch-Kit-HD-Flywheel-81-83-Nissan-280ZX-Turbo-2-8L-6cyl-/400425551720?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d3b390768
BluDestiny
Honestly for that price, I'd go with an exedy or spec clutch stage 1. How much power are you making to warrant that clutch?
Ont240
Warmed over 280 motor. Converting from an automatic to 5 spd so need flywheel as well Looking for flywheel around 14 to 15 lbs, steel or cast. Any suggestions? May end up lightening a stock flywheel. Xnke
That's a stock, off-the-shelf, Rhinopac Flyhwheel, available for 50$ or so from Rockauto, and a stock replacement pressure plate from Rhinopac, as well. The clutch disk is "carbon kevlar", but the photo shows a stock organic disk... Use the clutch interchange numbers to find out what the clutch actually is. In this case, it's 06-038...which references a stock replacement clutch for a KA24DE powered Nissan D21 pickup truck. This is the "white bunny" clutch that people go on about on the 240SX forums.
