I have two trannies one is a wide ratio from 78 280Z need a second gear synchro $300($150 for the tranny and $150 shipping) shipped.The Second tranny is a close ratio from 82 280ZX N/A in nice condition ($450 shipped)$300 for the tranny and $150 shipping! davek Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 I'm looking at an 83 280ZXt with a T5 tranny is the BW T5 standard? What years used them. More importantly should I stay a way from this for my 240 project? I know I want a 5 speed--what gives. Yes I'm a newby. Had a 240 back in 83 now I want to came back.
