J240ZTurbo Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 (edited) New fuel pump, new gas tank, new plugs, new cables, new cap and rotor, notice after it warms up it idles very rough, I spray some starting fluid thru the airflow meter and idles great for 3 seconds any ideas what could be wrong? Domzs Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Follow your FSM for diag. . They're many things can cause rough idle . I mean , is it missing or low idle ? SDgoods Posted September 16, 2013 Share Posted September 16, 2013 Which sensor did you replace? It would help if you explained a little more about what exactly is happening. So it stays on (drives? idles?) and then you turn it off and when you try to start it again does it crank? does it fire up? does it die right after it fires up? So I tooked it for a drive around the block and it rides rough, some back firing, wont pick up speed, I moved the timing around and can clearly see the difference if I moved it around; but if I moved the TPS or if I unplug it I see no chages at all.
