Fairlady240Z
I purchased an R34 RB26DETT to put in my 1972 Nissan Fairlady 240Z RHD. While reading up on the R34 it seems to have an ignition immobilizer on it. Was wondering if anyone else has done this swap and what was their solution to bypass the ignition immobilizer. Is it just locating the pin(s) on the ECU and bypassing them or is there another solution for this problem? Thanks in advance for all who help on this issue
stony
I don't have a R43 motor and I have never heard of this care to post some links to what you are referencing.
winstonusmc
Its easier just to run the R32 computer. The RB26 motors are all the same, just takes a little pin swapping on the ECU plug. Either that or find an aftermarket tuned ECU.
