V-ocho-Z
is the z32 a good lsd swap for a 75 datsun 280z with an r200rear end?
BluDestiny
No, and there are threads on why in the drivetrain section.
tooquick260
First issue is cost of swap. Unless you are handy and can fabricate. You would have to buy Arizona kit or Techno Toy Tuning. Upwards of $2000 for whole setup. I personally have not had an issue. I have about 1500 miles on my setup which is TTT. Have had some chatter under stress situations. But definitely works as a LSD. I am running the n/a z32 4.09 gear. I want to find a 97-01 Q45 rear dif that is 3.69. 1.What are other options for LSD? Z31, would be $500 to $1500 just for dif. Then you need axles, yes you can have them made. Also, a drive axle. 2.OBX cheapbay product. Have not heard bad news, just chinese. $400 to $500 for dif. (http://www.zdriver.com/forum/280zx-performance-technical-79/lsd-diff-swap-22641/) good write up in that post 3.Weld the gears,,,, not good for driver 4. Precision gear. http://www.precisiongear.com/powerbrute.htm I wanted to have the z32 brakes on all four corners for the ability to brake well but also the cool factor.... With the TTT rear set up you can have the brakes with a working e-brake. Find a pic n pay with the car and pull the hole setup out. Should be able to get it for less than $300, dif, brakes and axles. Send axles to TTT and wala done.
socorob
I got mine from a 1991 Infiniti Q45. It has the larger CV shafts with 6 bolts, and is a 3.54 ratio. As mentioned above, try a local u pull it type of yard. I got the driveshaft to the brakes for $180.

spiff
If you have a r200 rear end then any lsd made for a 240sx with open diff will bolt in so you have the option from cheap (obx) to expensive(cusco, quaife, kaaz, os giken etc)...
