DraggingDatsun
I recently got a 3.1L stroker kit and need help identifying which pistons I got with my rods and crank.. any ideas?
Xnke
Nissan KA24DE. Appears to be approximately a 2cc dish; you need to measure the pistons to find out what size, pin height, and crown thickness you have.
DraggingDatsun
So I need to measure with my calipers from the center of the pin hole to the top of the piston and the over all diameter of the piston to get the proper I.D.? I have a diesel crank and a full l28 and rods just making sure these are proper pistons lol
z-ya
You may need to cut a little off the top of the piston depending on which head gasket you are using. You can now get a stock thickness big bore Cometic gasket. So I would shoot for a stock deck height (~+0.030" above deck).
